Warrior General Games

Well folks, as we hit the sports beat we talk about the mid season shuffle that always takes place in the conference, and the way things tend to shape itself out. Thia season has to be the top heavy look of the confernece. This is just one man look at how things are shaping up before the playoffs roll into the cities that have earned atleast one homefield game.



1. The Last Gunfighters of Texas (9-0) By far they have to be the tuffest team inside the conf. With the abilites to stuff the run game, deflate anyones pass attack and all the abilities to run the ball on you at will leads me to think they will be the #1 or #2 slot from the road they have in final leg of season. (CONTENDER)

2. Charlie is at it again!!! Well we have seen this from the camo clad warriors last season as they started off slow then started Stomping and jumping out of the trees on any and everyone that they played. So if you are a betting man than this maybe a team you wanna throw a few extra FP's down on as a contender. (CONTENDER)

3. Sahara Sandstorm. Well you guessed it, they vowed to take the mountain Men down and they did it with class and a last minute drive to down the former teammate of jx564. They are simply a top class organization and have top notch owner Look for them to keep making noise for the rest of the season maybe more. (CONTENDER)

4. West Virginia. Well what can I say the Mountain Men as like last season tend to drop the really big games and seem to go down in a tail spin. I think that with the leadership and team they have they will make playoffs for second season, but the question is will the make it as a team that gets a home game or have to be road warriors like last season? With three tuff games left have to wait and see what comes of it. (CONTENDER)

5.Burundi Broncs. They tend to always be a quite team the creeps up on you without any notice. They have a team that will compete with anyone and make you earn everything. If they keep the train rolling the way they have you may see them cracking into a 3-4 slot come playoffs, still having to face three of the top teams they have all the chances to make a real name for themselves to become contender.(PRETENDER)

6.Congo Horror. This young team has tallent all through the roster, Game planning might be the one thing that keeps them a road team come playoffs. Time is a big thing for them now as they have hit the hard part of schedule and have a softer second half of season to play out. If they can knock off CDS then we may have a contender running at the dark horse. (PRETENDER)

7.Tripoli Leathernecks. This team is one that is tricky to prepare for as they are able to hit the upset button on anyone at anytime, they tend to show up when the war is right and the cash is good sounds like a rag tag band of merc's to me. (PRETENDER)

8.TOROS'S TEXANS. this team is a few steps away form being one of the great ones of this conf. they have a few kinks to workout and they will be running the show before to long. A great WR that leads the conf in yrds. you have to respect a team that has a weapon such as him. (PRETENDER)

9-11 Salty Shellbacks- As a navy man I know all about being a Shellback and they are not fitting the bill.(PRETENDER)
Monterey Magic- The should be good in near future.(PRETENDER)
Morningside Candysnatchers- Need to step up and snatch other things than candy. (PRETENDER)

12-16. Not alot to say about the bottom half but as a respectful guy I am gonna add you to the list as some people would not waist time to do that much.

Algeria tigers(PRETENDER)
Bayside Tigers(PRETENDER)
Zimbabwe Mighty Zulu Nation. They have done 180 (PRETENDER)
Hounds of Anubis(PRETENDER)
Darfur Demon Hunters(PRETENDER)


Well that as I said is just my thoughts of this season and who is what and what not. I am doing this for the first time so don't flame me to hard but let them rip and good luck to all the rest of the season.

Very nice write up Solo! Pretty much agree with everything said. I'm currently racking my brains on how to defeat the Gunfighters. In particular how to stuff their running game.

Great game last match WVU!! We honestly thought you had us and I'm well chuffed our AI in the last 2 minutes worked to perfection. No doubt we'll both be in the post-season in some form or other

Yeah great game. You guys had the drive of a life time and put the scwrews to us. But you have a big challenge ahead with the gunfighters they are a top notch squad kinda like Waco last season but they Run you to death.

Good Post, although I have to disagree with Congo being a Pretender. They are a tough team and definitely better than their record may state. Good last game WVU

As Solo said though, if the Horror beat CDS tonight then they will be contenders

There's a certain gunslinger on the Sandstorm who is just coming into his own. I imagine he'll have a few of those "drives of a lifetime" in his career.

It was One of the speacial moments when you have a drive like that.

What exactly did you mean by Tripoli being a rag tag band of mercs? That seems like a comment about individual players MO and personalities, rather than our team's ability. Unless I completely misunderstood.

Meaning that you are a good group put together that work well together just sometimes you are not on and sometimes you guys will come and snipe people out. It is nothing to disrespect your team in any way. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.
