Hey strangers,

I've been keeping tabs on our old stomping grounds, and what a season going on in AA#2. A four-way tie for 1st place and improved depth in Zeta. In Alpha, lots of talent at the top but a bit less deep this season from the looks of things. Good luck to everyone racing for the playoffs, and we'll most likely see two of you up here in AAA#1 next season...unless...

The unthinkable happens. The MTD's have been making a name for themselves, and for AA#2, up in AAA#1 to the tune of 8-1 and 1st place in Zeta, for the moment. We've been able to hold on and win two games we weren't supposed to win vs. long-time powerhouse So Cal BDC and AA#1 juggernaut Samoa Gangsters. The odds are still very likely we'll see you in AAA#1 next year, but the playoffs are a certainty barring a complete meltdown, and from there, anything can and does happen.

The Blaze over in Alpha have been making a name for themselves as well. They aren't having as much success, but they are 4-5 and knocking on the door to the playoffs. All 5 losses have come against playoff-caliber teams and they stole a win from another (Sydney Thunder). So the schedule the rest of the way is pretty light, except for a brutal crossover match vs. the Crushers which could easily keep them on the outside looking in.

Again, good luck to everyone down here and assuming things go as I feel they will, can't wait to see who joins us in AAA#1 next season.

Cheers,

Scace

I would personally like to say good luck on your next game. I have two players on the team that you are playing agianst tomorrow. I was wondering last year how my CB would fair against your potent passing attack. I guess now I get to find out. I have the first two players I ever made on the Artic Panthers and we be facing off against what is a very strong new comer in our divsion in Melbourne.

Best of luck and I can't wait to see how my player fair against your team this year. I know my players on the Wolverines didn't fair that well so I hope this time I hold my own.

Well the Wolverines have improved a lot since last season, where inconsistency from game-to-game seemed to plague you. Seems like a whole new, consistent team this season so far, congrats on that.

We aren't taking the Panthers lightly by any means. You guys beat the Raiders who put a beating on us and your only big losses are to So Cal and Samoa, both games we just held onto for wins. I was a bit surprised the Grapestompers snuck away with one against you though.

Good luck tomorrow, been looking forward to this one all season (marked down all the tough games at the start of the season).

Good to hear. Just hope that in a couple of seasons we'll be able to get Darwin up there as well.

Thanks for keeping in touch, Matt!
Great news, certainly. Hopefully, you can make a nice run through the AAA playoffs and get right up to the Pro League next season. Barring that, it's an interesting race down here to see who'd join you. A big cluster at the top at 8-1, and it's really anyone's race.

Stay in touch, and best of luck to you.

Sorry Me, we didn't bother testing you much

15-1 or 14-2 are distinct possibilities now...very happy about it, esp. since I projected a max of 12-4

Guess I have to be a bit more confident in my club lol

9-1, rolling over a gut in two days for 10-1

Then another test vs. the Grapestompers.

Then another gut, thought they at least have new ownership...not sure if some of them are staying together, so we'll have to watch that.

Then one of, if not, our biggest test of the season vs. the Crushers.

Then two easier matches riding into the playoffs

If you beat the crushers then I'll admit you have a great team

Well I guess it is a compliment that you didn't test me. I am going to assume that meant that I was not the weakest link on our team.

I acually think that we have a really good set of CB's and it would be a little crazy to test it to much. I did notice that you did attack our weakness and that is against the run.

Well played and great game planning.

Heyo I'm back. It looks like you guys are all hovering around where I had expected you to be, but comon sea dragons you can't stay here forever. Thatto looks like they've really improved as have the Lavastorm (unless they've gotten easy scheduling so far).

As you guys probably know the things that you don't have control over can make a big impact. The main reason we didn't have wins in the beginning of the season was because we probably rolled the toughest schedule in the league. Moving up and starting out facing the top 4 teams in the conference in the first 5 games isn't exactly grounds for good morale. We're not as lucky as those in Zeta with all their sold/gutted teams. Unfortunately one of our sold teams in Alpha is still very solid despite being sold (the Sharks).

We're just starting to get our morale back up now and we just beat Northbrook, a team that put down the Foxes, Sharks, Mean Machine, Rum Runners and out-gained the Crushers in yards in their close loss.

IMO the Crushers are the team to beat in Alpha, I liked what I saw from them when they faced us earlier. Despite those things that we can't control, it doesn't matter too much anyway because we're sticking to our plan and next season the championship is ours.
