I sent letters to both owners on this and explained the situation at the beginning of the first season together. I don't cheat and when we play each other, I just sit back and follow each gameplan as told to me. I don't participate in any conversation that week, I just do what I am told. Both squads are VERY well run and I am grateful for them trusting me. I am just glad that I have players that can contribute to both squads. It's fun to see how my players play against each other...

The honorable mention All-American guard was the first African American to play football for Ohio State. Bell went on to serve as a professor and a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
