This is my post on the team forum after getting no response to my first request for Big Jim Chopblocker after seeing he got ZERO snaps in the game on Saturday, what an owner:

One day I get a contract saying he WANTS my guy LONG-TERM...well, I didnt want at this point to COMMIT for 3 years, but wanted to WAIT until later in the season to make a decision, which is MY choice...so, the following game, which was the game previous to this one on Saturday, Big Jim Chopblocker gets ZERO playing time and noticed that there is now another guard in front of him, which is fine, no big deal(and I understand that he's a level 10), none of that is the problem....the problem comes here:

I asked for him to be released since he's getting ZERO XP'S from not playing a single snap....no response back from TJ858585, the owner...so todays game, he gets ONE SNAP, and ONLY 32 XP'S, UNACCEPTABLE for a level 10...the game on the 14th, he got 331 XP'S...with 0 XP'S AND 32 XP'S, there is NO WAY for him to get better.

SO, with that said, TJ858585, RELEASE BIG JIM CHOPBLOCKER IMMEDIATELY!!!

AND PLEASE RESPOND TO MY COMMUNICATION SO I KNOW THAT YOU RECIEVED THIS!!

Thanks,

GG

well, if you want my opinion-

- not playing someone because they won't meet your every demand as an owner isn't cool and I just don't play that way

- BUT unless you are being benched, its hard for him to control exactly how much you play. I've got a lb only getting about 5 plays a game and I haven't found a solution for it.

- second, expecting him to just release you isn't fair and probably won't happen. he has invested money in you and to release you would be just a failed investment and taking a loss.

- why won't you just commit to the team and try for longer contract? or maybe shorter contract but less bonus and cash.

gotta remember you are a lvl 10 too.

Your level 10
Can you imagine going against my teams level 24 DT or level 22 DE
People say levels mean nothing but come on...you stand no chance

If I were him I'd stick you on the special teams and let you wait out your contract

Your contract ends season 5 day 1, you can hold out I had a QB that got no play time and now he rocks on his new team. Be patient, ask for special teams play time, its better than nothing or being benched.

Better question would be why the hell did he offer a contract to a level 7 or 8 at that time for this division??

lmao. I'm on your team and you know that the avg. level is like 20 for a starter. Level 10's are like the Aaron Rogers of GLB. You have to sit back, and wait for the elders to retire/leave before you get that PT.

and i havnt benched you for not signing the contract it is just how the game is i cant put how man plays to give you in it is based on energy settings, and that hasnt changed at all this season

Then again you are paying him to sit back and relax, its easy money, train on relax , so when you leave you have more cash for later.

Since you own your own team, wouldn't the easiest solution be for you to offer a trade to get him on your team, then release him yourself?

Exactly. Take this crap to the PM's and leave our forums out of it.
