First, thanks to Nilsson for taking a run at week 7 rankings in my stead.
1. WYW - league's best D struts their stuff once again, setting up a showdown w/ Newcastle this week.
2. Brussels - as their passing game improves, their move towards the top continues
3. Boston - one of the league's best offenses but pass D has to improve. Question of league's 2nd best to be answered this week.
4. Irish - demotion here due to unimpressive win against the AFD. Should've had a larger margin of victory. Rush O looks good though.
5. Newcastle - streak up to 6 & this team's improved week to week. Can they knock off the WYW powerhouse this week? Should be a good one!
6. Danzig - another team that's improved week in & week out. Gave WYW the best game they've had all year.
7. Rome - low chemistry catching up to them? Loss to the AFD was a shock to yours truly. Maybe their O is too one-dimensional?
8. AFD - added some coaching whose collective wisdom may be turning this ship around but two tough games staring them in the face.
9. Stockholm - in the midst of 100% USDA choice when it comes to their schedule. Heartbraking loss to Rome. Should contest for a playoff spot once week 12 arrives.
10. Dusseldorf - another team going thru a tough portion of schedule, but has good chemistry. Should be in the mix for the final playoff spot.
11. Plainview - their fall has slowed & they're playing competition more on their level, so coaching will become the key.
12. Portugal - finally hitting an enjoyable part of their schedule. Has a chance to get to near .500 the next few games.
13. Donegal - another team that I'm sure is thrilled to get to this point in their schedule. Only have a couple of games ahead of them where they'll be completely outmatched.
14. Mokum - according to the matchup they're better than Cologne; better than a couple other teams too. Something's amiss.
(tie) 15. Dublin - obviously I jinxed them by thinking they'd get their first win. Sorry about that.
(tie) 15. Cologne - holy monkeys they got a win!!! Amazing. They're still awful though.
