(Barcelona, Spain) - An announcement came today from the GLBOA (Goal Line Blitz Owners Association) that Rybread, owner of the Romania Roadhouse Rowdies, is currently being investigated for providing his players and coaches with HGH.
Now, the GLBOA has not released any of the details of the investigation, but they did say that Rybread would be allowed to continue his ownership and head coaching duties while the investigation is ongoing.
We caught up with BigCowboysFan, owner of the Barcelona Chupcabras, after the GLBOA announcement earlier today.
"All I know is that questions were raised by some of the owners in Europe East 'A' #5 Alpha Conference after the Romania team was able to beat a much higher rated Krakow Krakodile team a couple of weeks ago. I did not know anything about it until the owners in the Alpha Conference started bringing this to light and showing their supporting evidence. I went back and checked the game tape myself and I did notice that some of his players were 'playing beyond their level.' As far as the accusations are concerned or anything about the investigation is concerned I cannot comment on it."
The accusations were raised after Rybread's Romania team defeated a much higher rated Krakow team fairly easily.
There was also a video tape that was shown in the conference room that was made available to the public to view, but not rebroadcast.
Essentially, the video was a shot inside the locker room of Romania and showed the head coach asking one of his players, and I quote, 'if he wanted to be part of a team. If he wanted to win.' The player started to say 'I don't think this is...' when the coach cut him off and asked the player, 'What would Rybread do?' The player then leaned over the trainer's table and took a shot in the left cheek.
It will be interesting to see how the Romania team will respond to these accusations in their upcoming matchup with Green Bay.
