Listowel Huskies vs Saskatchewan Wolf Pack - The Huskies come into town with a 3 game win streak after spanking the Perverts 126-0. The Wolf Pack have a 2 game win streak but still in 12th place in the division. The only loss for the Huskies was to the Bruins who the Wolf Pack just whooped last week 45-24. So it is #2 vs #12 in the division and you think it should be a blowout. But I think the Wolf Pack is starting to get their coaching on the right track and surprise the Huskies 27 - 24 in OT (there is my one OT game). You heard it here first folks.
Westwood Bruins vs Port Moody Megalodon - The Bruins had their 4 game winning streak snapped last week by the Wolf Pack. And now they travel to Port Moody against a team that is like butter, they are on a roll
. Winner of 5 straight and none of them close. Port Moody is due for a let down but not this week. They win 30 - 10.
Memphis Maulers vs Gaffney Indians - The Maulers are coming into town after losing their last two games and are currently outside the playoff picture. The Indians are on a 4 game win streak and have only loss 1 game all year. Everything points to Indians on this but how can I pick them to win when they do not even list Laval as a possible team that moves up to Canada AA on their website? They might of short sighted Laval but I will not short sight them. Indians win easily 44 - 7.
Vancouver Crush vs Montreal Raptors - The Crush come to town after losing at home last week to Laval. But the Crush had a new owner and the team is in flux. The Raptors are home but are riding a 5 game losing streak. With Matt back in the fold as GM for the Crush, they rally and beat the Raptors 27 - 21.
Québec City Dirtbags vs Bologna Towers - The Dirtbags came into this season looking like they would kick ass and did not care about your name. Now they come into this game with a 2 game win streak and are currently in the last playoff spot in the West. The Tower have lost everything except their car keys this year. The Dirtbags will come in firing and leave happy today as they beat the towers 33 - 24.
B.K. Thunderbirds vs Ogopogo Lake Monsters - The Thunderbirds snapped a 3 game losing streak by kicking butt of the Towers. The Lake Monsters are currently on a 2 game slide after that big win against Laval. This week the Lake Monsters come out of the water to feast on Thunderbirds. Lake Monsters win this one 30 - 17.
Thunder Bay Titans vs Hermitage Perverts - The Titans stopped the 3 game slide by laying the smack down on the Raptors last week. The Perves are under new ownership but the results are the same as they lose their 8th game in a row last week. Make that a 9 game losing streak as the Titans come into town and win easily 52 - 7. But for the first time this season, the Perverts score a TD.
Yellowknife Rented Mules vs Winnipeg Wolves - Not only are the Rented Mules on a 3 game losing streak, they have been ugly losses. The Wolves continued their undefeated streak after crushing the Military last game. The Rented Mules could not win this one if they rented a bazooka. The Wolves win second cake walk in 2 weeks 77 - 7.
Toronto Bobcats vs Puvirnituq Musketeers - The Bobcats first 3 games were very close loses. The last 3 loses have not been close at all. Puvi is the other undefeated team and they are playing at home. I heard the saying "Rather be lucky than good" but Puvi was both last week in a thriller with the Assassins. Puvi does enough to win ever week and this is not exception. Puvi win going away 34 - 17.
Antioch Inferno vs Lincoln Lucky - The Inferno is on a 3 game winning streak thanks to a very close victory against the Quasars. The owners are still trash talking about that game. Lucky might of lost 4 out of the first 5 games but now are on a 3 game winning streak. The Inferno has been in every game this year. Lucky has not been so lucky. The Inferno is not only in this game but wins easily 33 - 10.
Lancaster Hustlas vs Quebec Quasars - The Hustlas finally stopped the slide that lasted for 3 games by trouncing the Terror last week. The Quasars lost their second game last week by two points (which they are still saying they should not of lost but the refs screwed them). That makes 2 loses by a total of 3 points....ouch. Normally I would think that this game would be close but the Quasars are posting comments in the locker room and I do not want this to be one of them. Quasars win this match with pure rage by crushing the Lightning 40 - 17.
Canadian Military vs Hamilton Lightning - The Military is 0-8 for the season without scoring a point. I talked to some of the people in their city and asked them if they support their team. One said "When they give us a team, I will support it". Another one said "It is really love going to the game, I never have to wait in line since nobody else goes". Back to the predictions, The lightning is on a 2 game win streak and looking to extend that to 3 at home. They get the job done by winning 68 - 3 but they allow the first points scored by the Military.
Niagara Assassins vs Halifax Fighting Irish - The Assassins come into town after losing their last 2 games by 2 points each. The Irish are now on a 2 game winning streak. Another great game here but the home team (Irish) wins it in overtime (I would like to be right with an OT game at least once) 30 - 27.
Blitzkrieg Bandits vs Nova Scotia Snakes - The Bandits started out strong this year but have lost not only the last 2 but 4 out of the last 5 games. The Snakes halted a 3 game losing streak with a win against the Rented Mules. The New owner for the Bandits is still looking for the right combination to win a game. After this week, he has to keep looking for it because the Snakes win this one 24 - 10.
S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys vs Sacramento Terror - The Donkeys are currently on a 2 game losing streak. The Terror still have not won a game or even scored a point this season. They are selling No-Doze at the Terror stadium to help keep their fans awake. Those fans are glad they did because they lose again but lose 45 - 10 and the Terror fans get to see the first points scored of the season at home.
I am not sure how many times I will be doing this in the future. My friend (and my GM) just got his own team and I am helping him with it. This team is broke and gutted. Not a good combination. So if I do not do this every week, I hope you all understand.
Now what do you all think of my predictions and tell me what you think your score will be if you want to. I am 77% correct for the season. So if I said you will win, then you can almost bank on it. If I said you were going to lose, then what do I know, I am wrong 23% of the time.
