We have a very competitive conference here in Zeta. I believe this season will be the last season of the have nots as leveling plateaus and everyone will have a fair shake at the championship. If the Owners and GMs are dedicated and diligent, there's no reason every team can't be competitive. The players themselves also have a responsibility to maintain and advance their players as best as they can. I know boosting can be expensive (i have 22 players) but the minimum you can do as a player is to have custom equipment on for all your players and the return on investment is incredible (a level 20 with custom equipment is far superior than a level 20 without). I applaud every team for making this the best Oceania league i've seen, let's keep it up and smack each other around for seasons to come. Enough about the future, let's look at what's out there now.

Guadalcanal Gunners
These cocky devil dogs are looking to win it all and lay waste to everyone that comes into their path.
Locker room leader- Evan Stazny
Star player Offense- Hugh Laurie (QB) Backup- Talagan Cinco Vegas (HB)
Star player Defense- Joe Clean (SS) Backup- Mike Hrinko (DE)
Biggest Win- Fiji Flying Foxes W 16-14 - We consider them the second best team in the league
Biggest Loss- what's a loss?
Rival- ASRW/Lions
Description: Killin Machines

Rancherito Mantas
Under new management, this team is going to go through growing pains.
Locker room leaders- GM's Blue, Shardady, and Downhill PV
Star player Offense- Ernie McCraken (TE) Mumstead Mcgillicutty (HB)
Star player Defense- Kleber Jose (LB) Quickdraw Mcgraw (DE)
Biggest Win- Against the Lexington Armada because it's been their only one so far
Biggest loss- Last one officially sent this season into rebuilding mode
Description-We have a very solid Nucleus and I expect us to be in the playoff fight next season.
Zeta Is a very competitive conference there are several teams in pretty much a dogfight at the top.
We are slowly building a competitive team and we plan to Turn some heads next year. If I had to pick a team I would like payback against it would be The Wollong Shaved Pussycats. I really wish we had that game back and if we face them again I like our chances.

Newcastle Mountain Lions
These are some tough bastards, they showed it last season with their solid defensive efforts and are showing it this season by taking everyone to the mat (even in losses).
Locker room leader- Spam Canderson- their vocal and powerful FB
Star player Offense- Imgunna Catchit (WR) backup- Steel Magnum (TE)
Star player Defense- Dixie the Chewer (DE) backup- Orange "Diet Silverback" Krush (DT)
Biggest Win- (knock on wood) Devonport, because it clinched us a home playoff game. (knock on wood) ((editor's note: might want to revise this))
Biggest loss- Guadalcanal because we can take them
Rival- Fiji B- we beat them when it counts
Predicted Zeta Winner- regular season- Gunners. Post season-NML
Description:We are going to coast through the second half of the season, going 8-0 to clinch the 3 seed in the playoffs. Then we will beat the Devils, Fiji B and the Gunners to go to the super bowl and promotion.
Our team motto: "Levels don't mean shit if you cant build"

Dharma Initiative
This is a team with potential, and under new owner Psycho Effer, they'll build for the future.
Locker room leader- Jan Montino
Star player Offense- Jan Montino (QB)
Star player Defense- Vegas Awesomo (LB)
Biggest win- Lexington Armada- because it was the first win under the new owner
Biggest loss- Rockhampton Raiders because it was total pwnage
Rival- Perth Pirates- We had them on the ropes in the 4th quarter and couldn't pull out the win.
Description:This is probably going to be a transition season prior to a rebuilding season for the Dharma Initiative. Next season's team will probably have many new faces and will be a tough struggle but that will be a crucible that will meld the team into a cohesive unit.

Brisbane Troyfins
This team is a wildcard. They may lack levels on some teams but they play their hearts out.
Locker room leader- Bowl U Over
Star player Offense- Uranus Virtue (HB) backup- Woody Forrest (WR)
Star player Defense- Impermeable Force (DT), Int Erception (CB) backup Dreds Harris (CB)
Biggest Win- ER Mantas ended a tough losing streak and was a stat fest
Biggest Loss- Newcastle Mountain Lions- 3 point loss, our final drive stalled at their 36
Rival- Newcastle Mountain Lions- We're 0-2 against them and both were really close. Games we felt we should have won.

Alice Springs Rock Wallabies
A good squad with good management that have hit a stretch of bad luck lately.
Locker room leader- Rex Rodine
Star player Offense- Ao (QB) backup Leon McGeorge (WR)
Star player Defense- Wilimina Roberta (CB) backup Sweet Greggo (LB)
Biggest Win- Fiji Flying Foxes in our inaugural season, showing AA4 that we were for real.
Biggest loss- Newcastle Mountain Lions- ASRW's first 2 game losing streak.
Rival- Guadalcanal Gunners,It may not look like a rivalry to anyone else, since you guys are 2-0 against us. But we get up for you like no other. ((editor's note- 3-0))
Description:Zeta needs to beware. My guys are ticked because I won't let them boost yet. They have a lot of pride, and will punish teams that are overlooking them after the Tasmania/Newcastle games... ((editor's note- add Guadalcanal to that list))

Perth Pirates
They seem to be more competitive in the second half of the season, we'll see what damage they can do now that we've reached the halfway point.
Locker room leader- Nevin Blevins
Star player Offense- Bentley (HB)and Davidson (TE)
Star player Defense- Gentzke (LB) and Blevins (DE)
Biggest Win- the Mantas because it got them back on track
Biggest Loss- The loss to Hamilton damaged their playoff chances
Rival- no rival yet
Description: Perth will make the playoffs
