Alpha Games

Ohio Valley -1 @ Alice Springs
Darwin -43 @ Gainsville
Easter Island +17 @ Sydney
Thatto Heath -25 @ Illesheim
Manilla +15 @ Newcastle
Molokai -65 @ South Australia
Orgrimmar -49 @ Samoa
Vanuatu +17 @ Tasmania

Zeta

Tasmania -6 @ Asua
El Fuego +6 @ Bikini Atoll
Chinese +13 @ Dunedin
Christchurch -17 @ Uluru
Cimmerian +24 @ Tonga
Coney Island -39 @ FPQA
Mauna Kea -117 @ Dirty South
Redscape +9 @ The Four

As you can see, not a ton of predicted close games. This would put the blow out of the week as the Chenabogs over the Gladiators and the game of the week looks to be The Ironmen over the Fire.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. It does add a lot more excitement to the games.

I'm expecting a tougher game from Gainseville than what the spread indicates.

Some of the spreads on the higher end do seem absurd. I don't think the formula takes into account the fact that most teams don't run up the score once they're ahead.

I think this is true, too.
But still, thanks a bunch for doing these. Really makes this forum a great place to be!

The Somoa's now have a chance to get a win against Orgrimmar. Looks like all of their player's contracts have expired. Most of their roster is now CPU's.

There is no way in hell Dirty South is going to lose by 117. I know we are bad - but it isn't like Mauna Kea crushes us on talent...if only there was a GLB bookie that accepted Paypal so I could bet on the game.

Hmm could it be, the Gladiators are attempting to get better? 17-20. Not quite the 117 you were hoping for.

Tasmania: covered
Bikini Atoll: covered
Dunedin: did not cover
Christchurch: covered
Tonga: covered
Coney Island: did not cover
Mauna Kea: did not cover (and nearly a BIG upset here)
Four Horsemen: did not cover

4-4 this week on those who covered. Not terrible predictions!

We too covered against Cimmerian, but they gave our defense fits today. Definitely a feisty bunch, and could very well upset some team that doesn't give them their due. A very good game, Barbarians, and I wish you the best of luck this season moving forward!

Good game you gave us Stubbs, annoyed we couldnt get on scoresheet but you had our passing packed up in your back pocket.

Not many teams have eased their way through the game againsy us like you did, if it wasnt for a couple of key interceptions you were close to running up the score.

GL for rest of season, maybe we'll get you first up in playoffs ....

easterisland was SOOOOO close. took it to overtime, intercepted the pass after they won the toss, and the QB inexplicably did a dump pass to the HB with no pressure on him, and then the HB got tag teamed for a fumble. oh the humanity!

atleast it wasnt a 17 point blowout as predicted.
