these are just the numbers that came out after he plugged the data into the equations or whatever it is.
I dont think this list takes into account who beats who but if you have the same record whoever scores more points will be at the top?

Unfortunately, I don't believe head-to-head matchups serve as tiebreakers, to prevent confusion.

Head-to-head match-ups are the first tiebreaker. Followed by points scored and, third, points allowed. What happens now is that if two teams are tied but haven't played each other yet, then it goes with points scored. Also, if there's a three way tie and not all teams played each other, or they have but team A beat team B who beat team C who beat team A, then likewise points scored becomes the first tiebreaker.

we had a 3 way tie in the east at 14-2 last season i think. falcons ended up third due to losing the head to head match-ups... even if thats how this game really ranks teams its still alot easier to make this list by points scored on top i would think.

You're correct! Season 1 was points scored, then points allowed. Head-to-head was introduced as the first tiebreaker in season 2.
