Ok, I will do this again. Nothing scientific about this, just saying what pops in my head (lots of empty space up there so there is room for lots of ideas). Of course, not doing my game like usuall. So here we go:

Québec City Dirtbags vs Port Moody Megalodon - Game of the week in the West for sure. Port Moody is a powerhouse and Dirtbags looked like a powerhouse on paper at the beginning of the year and now are acting like it on the field. I give a slight edge to PMM because of their kicking game and prolong greatness on the field this year and last. This game will go down to the wire with PMM winning 27 - 25 with a score in the last minute to win it.

Listowel Huskies vs Thunder Bay Titans - The Huskies got bounced back after their first lost of the season and the Titans are on a 2 game losing streak. This game could come down to the end if it were not for the mistakes that the Titans will make at the start of the 4th quarter. Huskies pull away late and win 33 - 20.

B.K. Thunderbirds vs Gaffney Indians - The Thunderbirds with 1 win travel to Gaffney to take on the Indians who have a 2 game win streak going. Make that 3 game win streak now because they beat up on the Thunderbirds 40 - 10.

Memphis Maulers vs Saskatchewan Wolf Pack - The Maulers are 4-2 and breazed last weeks game 100-3. The Wolf Pack have won only 1 game but have taken on some of the best teams in the league with a very tough schedule. Looks like Wolf Pack are loaded but the coaching staff is having a hard time getting the players to perform on the field. Not this week, the Wolf Pack wins a close one 24 - 17.

Vancouver Crush vs Ogopogo Lake Monsters - The Crush got back on the winning track after losing 2 in a row. The Monsters gave Laval their first regular season loss ever and are looking to make a case for being the best in the West. Crush looks like they are not firing on all cylinders. The Monsters are heading for a let down after a huge win. Another great game here as the Crush win this one in OT (always have at least one) 26 - 23.

Westwood Bruins vs Alberta Alchemists - The Bruins are on a 3 game winning streak but are the only 4 - 2 team that does not current hold a playoff spot. In a surprise move this week, the Alchemists owner sold his team to Jaked081 who changed the name to Hermitage Perverts. We welcome him to Canada A2 league and wish him luck. He needs more than luck to hope to win this game. The Bruins give him a rude welcome to the league by winning 124 - 0.

Tradewest Battletoads vs Bologna Towers - The Battletoads are on a 2 game losing streak but they were against PMM and the Indians. The Towers are still looking for that first win of the season. If they cannot win, they would like to keep one within 10 points. Sorry Towers, not this game. The Battletoads win this one easily 55 - 3.

Nova Scotia Snakes vs Winnipeg Wolves - The Wolves have won every game so far this year and most of them in convincing fashion. The Snakes in their last 3 loses have lost by a total of 16 points. They are 1-5 but could be 4-2 with a little luck. They will need more than luck to beat the Wolves as they stay undefeated by winning 33 - 13.

S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys vs Puvirnituq Musketeers - The Donkeys are on a 2 game win streak and Puvi is like a well oiled machine and keeps winning every game. The Donkeys see some chinks in the machine but not enough to stop them. Puvi stays undefeated by winning 27 - 10.

Blitzkrieg Bandits vs Quebec Quasars - The Bandits got back on the winning track after losing 2 very close games to some really good teams. The Quasars are on a 3 game win streak and only lost 1 game and that was a 1 point decision to the undefeated Wolves. The Bandits have a new owner this week too. We welcome thewiz1 to our little league here. So the Bandits have the same name but the players are coming and going. This team needs some time to bring it all together again. More time than what they have for this game. Quasars win this one 45 - 10.

Niagara Assassins vs Hamilton Lightning - The Assassins are on a 2 game win streak and making a hard push for a playoff game. The Lightning just lost their 2nd game of the season but it was very close to the Donkeys. This one will be a thriller down to the end. The winning score is 28 - 27. The winning team is the Assassins.

Antioch Inferno vs Sacramento Terror - The Inferno got back on the winning side last week after losing 2 straight to some good teams. The Terror is not only still looking for that first win but also those first points of the season. The Inferno keeps the winning streak going by slamming the Terror 122 - 0. Sorry Terror...still no points.

Lancaster Hustlas vs Notre Dame Fighting Copyrights - The Hustlas have lost their last 2 after winning their first 4. The Fighting Irish lost the last one by one after winning the 4 previous. One of these two teams will get back on track and the other one will be headed towards losing a playoff spot if they do not watch it. The Fighting Irish will use the forced name change to motivate them instead of distracting them this week to win 30 - 20.

Yellowknife Rented Mules vs Lincoln Lucky - Both the Mules and the Lucky cannot get a good win streak going. Each of them need this game bad to even think about the playoffs. Lucky for Lucky that the Yellowknifes are going for the slow build. Lucky wins this one 45 - 3.

Toronto Bobcats vs Canadian Military - The Bobcats have only won one game all season but they still want respect from the league. The Military have not won a game or even scored a point all season but are not looking for respect. They want to be feared in the long run. Long time from now will not help them this game and Bobcats win easily 56 - 3. Congrats on the first points of the season Military.

Tell me if you think my predictions are right on or way off bases. The teams that I predicted to lose, tell me why you think you are going to win. I want somebody to tell me why I have their team pegged all wrong.

Have a great day.

Coach Dawg

Good read m8. Hope we can get as big a win as u predict, but if the horrible should happen and we only win 80-3 i think we will live

Only game i dont agree with is the Assasins - Lightning game. I think Hamilton will win 27-10. And i think PMM will have a comfortable win, cant see it getting that close even tho Dirtbags have a really good team.

GL to everyone (except Sacramento )

Nova Scotia Snakes at Winnipeg Wolves
The Snakes have decent levels on their roster, but lost a crutial matchup last week against the Lincoln Lucky. Their only win so far this season has been against the scared slowbuilders. Seems their poor performance comes down to poor gameplanning. The only way they'll win is trickery, but the Winnipeg won't fall for that. Wolves take a chomp out of NS.
Snakes - 7 Wolves - 27

Blitzkrieg Bandits at Quebec Quasars
The Quasars are trying to clinch some home games in the playoffs, and won't let any Bandits get in their way. Blitzkrieg's bandaged, but not broken. The new ownership is quickly reloading the team with individuals, but will not be prepared in time for the Quasars.
Bandits - 20 Quasars - 56

Niagara Assassins at Hamilton Lightning
Hamilton started planning for this game last Sunday (what other explanation is there for a loss to S.W.O.). Niagara has proven they know how to handle their roster, fighting for position in the playoff race. But, the lightning should wake up after the big upset and strike back hard. This one goes to the wire, but the Assassins will be set back in their hunt, and miss a chance at playoffs early.
Assassins - 13 Lightning - 16

Antioch Inferno at Sacramento Terror
Two hundred Mexicans will make up the complete attendance, when Tennessee travels to California for the anticipated Canadian matchup.
Inferno - 102 Terror - 0

Lancaster Hustlas at Notre Dame Fighting Copyrights
A midwest matchup for the ages. These two teams both have a chance at a home game in the playoffs, but neither one has performed to expectations. Lancaster's dropped the ball in their last two games against top four teams. Notre Dame has lost 2 this season to highly ranked teams, including last weeks 1 point loss to Antioch. Notre Dame won't let it happen again though, this time they get a 1 point advantage.
Hustlas - 20 Fighting Copyrights - 21

Yellowknife Rented Mules at Lincoln Lucky
No luck in this matchup. Lincoln makes an ass of the mules.
Rented Mules - 3 Lucky - 66

Toronto Bobcats at Canadian Military
Chaingang has some of the highest level players in the league, but have struggled this season putting together a sad performance all season. Even while GMing from several different accounts, Changang can't seem to put together a decent showing. Lucky for them, the Military are sadomasochists and love getting spanked.
Bobcats - 79 Military - 0

Laval Lumberjacks at Montreal Raptors (35 - 23)
Quebec City Dirtbags at Port Moody Megalodon (28 - 38)
Listowel Huskies at Thunder Bay Titans (31 - 10)
B.K. Thunderbirds at Gaffney Indians (6 - 27)
Memphis Maulers at Saskatchawan Wolf Pack (10 - 13)
Vancouver Crush at Ogopogo Lake Monsters (34 - 28)
Westwood Bruins at Alberta Alchemists (69 - 7)
Tradewest Battletoads at Bologna Towers (42 - 13)

Nice predictions you guys. Well done as always.

We agreed on everything except ND vs. LAN and NIA vs HAM. You really think the Swamp Ass can put up 10 though? I'm gonna go do some more planning to make sure that doesn't happen.

Great write-up Dawg, good predictions too. Your right the Crush hasnt been firing on all cylanders and its something I am trying to work out. This is a very competitive league which is proven by the fact that there is no team still undefeated thru only 7 games. Its going to be a close playoff race.

17-16 is a win we will take any day.

Great game Ogopogo, we knew after your upset win last week that you guys are MUCH stronger than your record relects, you guys gave us one hell of a fight. We are happy just comming away with a W.

It gets no easier for us next week against Laval, were 1-1 in the 2 games we have played but I give the edge to Laval for this one for sure. Hopefully we can get our offense going like it should.

Snakes at Wolves (7 - 27) 20 - 27
Bandits at Quasars (20 - 56) 0 - 58
Assassins at Lightning (13 - 16) 24 - 26
Inferno at Terror (102 - 0) 105 - 0
Hustlas at Fighting Copyrights (20 - 21) 14 - 16
Rented Mules at Lucky (3 - 66) 17 - 41
Bobcats at Military (79 - 0) 49 - 0

Laval Lumberjacks at Montreal Raptors (35 - 23) 52 - 3
Quebec City Dirtbags at Port Moody Megalodon (28 - 38) 3 - 41
Listowel Huskies at Thunder Bay Titans (31 - 10) 24 - 20
B.K. Thunderbirds at Gaffney Indians (6 - 27) 7 - 33
Memphis Maulers at Saskatchawan Wolf Pack (10 - 13) 10 - 24
Vancouver Crush at Ogopogo Lake Monsters (34 - 28) 17 - 16
Westwood Bruins at Alberta Alchemists (69 - 7) 84 - 3
Tradewest Battletoads at Bologna Towers (42 - 13) 51 - 17

100% on the week. 46 - 14 overall (77%)
Noteables:
Lancaster misses a field goal with 8 minutes left, then throws a 4th down INT under 2 minutes; loses by 2.
Hamilton wins by 2 after kicker Haft Fodram ends a 50 yard push with a field goal from the 0.5 yard line with 39 seconds left.
Winnipeg caps a 2 minute, 80 yard drive with a 1 yard, tie-breaking, game-winning touchdown run by Greg Kulczycki.
Listowel, down 10 entering the 4th quarter scores 2 TDs on consecutive drives for a late win.
Ogopogo kicker Panda Man misses an XP in the second quarter, then loses by 1 to Vancouver.
(self stroking: ) Puvirnituq extends their regular season unbeaten streak to 15.

EDIT: 100% is pretty good, even my scores were pretty close. The only game I really didn't judge well was Port Moody's blowout win.
