With 2 games to go until the half way point, there are some clear leaders emerging in the MVP race.

In the Alpha conference, Vladimir Kramnik (DT, Gangsters) has clearly established himself as the best player on the defensive side of the ball so far this season. On offense, several players are in the running. Johnny Flinger (QB, Maulers), Razor Rodgers (HB, Tundrawolves), C. Rainey (HB, Gangsters) and ILikeTo MoveItMoveIt (HB, Winter) have put up the best numbers so far. The next two games may let one of them put some distance between themself and the pack.

In the Zeta Conference, the defensive MVP is a murkier picture. No one has truly stood out, but iStOmP ShUtOuT (CB, Sharks) has put up some impressive numbers in the secondary and is the front runner. On the offensive side, both Montana Jones (HB, Nannies) and Clare the Silver-Eyed Killer (HB, All-Stars) have put up gaudy numbers. The next two games may let one pull ahead decisively.

I agree completely on the Kramnik for Defensive MVP stance. He wreaked havoc on us. 3 sacks I think

Yeah well look who the OP team is? That is why he is given Rainey a nod...not a chance bro!

I'm 2 back on the Tundrawolves and have better numbers then that! I think you were "semisober" posting that!

I'll make sure to adjust our play calling to let Rainey pad his stats against the weaker teams and then I'll get back to you.

Concur. And it wasn't just sacks, he almost took the handoff on a couple plays against us.

I appreciate the nod to Clare, for whatever reason she's having a monster first half of the season. Deedlit hasn't been too shabby either, although she's thrown some stupid picks in garbage time for us. Just to give some diversity to the Zeta offense though, I'd have to say that Mathew Schwab (QB) of the Houston Bulls is a front-runner for best QB in Zeta for this first half of the season.

QB Sean Lexington is worth a look. 1100 yards, 10 TD and 0 INTs

If you're going to use the next two games as your measure of who had the best first half, Iliketomoveitmoveit will win this discussion. We're playing Warsaw and Sevestapol ... two teams without much to speak of on their D-line.

Also, I'd like to toot my own horn. Hat Garrison for the Winter should be in this ... in addition to having a great season so far blocking, he's the number 8 receiver so far in alpha. After a game against Warsaw, he may be in the top 10 in all of EE. Not too shabby for a combo TE.
