Warrior General Games

Well i would normally do a little round up here but i think the best thing to do is just look at Indy's prediction thread, he was pretty close, much better than the muppet who did it last week!!

In Alpha the Tigers & Minotaurs both won, the Minotaurs overcoming the incredibly strong Frankfurt Sentinals in a close game 27-13. The Tiger had things slightly easier with a comfortable 41-7 defeat of the Omaha Beach Blackshirts. Elsewhere in Alpha, the Eagles beat the Wild Boars and Paris won comfortably...they were always going to win that game!
In Zeta the panthers continued their downward slide against the conchords losing 27-34, the Romantics shut out the Bridges 53-zip and the Firestorm continued a great start to the season with a 26-17 victory over Husavik!
A closer than usual victory for the Hippos over the Fire will keep peoples belief up that they will lose this season and the Vikings beat the Lightning 51-21 in a game that really wasn't that one sided!

Grass Root Divots <3 all you guys.

To cheer you all up, we wont be coming back down this season as we've won 3 now and are (in theory) duking it out with former Zeta promotioneers A Team of Ice and Fire for the last play-off spot.

However we've rattled a few cages already, and intend to do a few more before the end of the season. Unfortunately we're in the tough part of our schedule at this very moment - but have been unlucky in two games not to have snatched victory.

lol...we'll play you guys in a scrimmage too!

I still don't get how the Demons can beat the Cougars by 80 and still drop 3 spots. I know they're a weak team, but it seems like we'd have dropped even if we put up 200 on them. That said, it's shaping up to be quite a battle in Lyon, though.

definitely...you guys have a very strong team...will be a great game as we are very evenly matched.

Beating a lower class opponent gets you fewer points than beating a higher grade opponent.

London beating Paris for instance would probably put 1 whole point on their score. Whereas beating Portsmouth would only add on 0.10.
