West Conference Week Five Power Rankings

1. Pewntenheimer "Mighty" Pewnts
Texas actually managed to put up the first points of the game with a kick, but you answered back with a touchdown and didn't give back the lead the rest of the game.

2. Twin City Wildcats
Stuck it to the Bombers pretty hard but gave up an interception and lost a fumble? :O

2. Hammond Bayou Bengals
Stomped on the Sidewinders, whose kicker, Josh Clown seems to think he is the greatest player in the league O.o

4. San Diego Bolts
Bolts/Raiders was one of the first games I watched after I threw my chair across the room and punched a couple holes in the wall, for obvious reason I will address later, it was a solid battle between two great teams, but Bolt domination was pretty obvious most of the game. Auckland's 3 interceptions and lost fumble really sealed the deal.

5. Tampa Bay Greyhounds
I really have to say, this game pissed me off to no extent. It's pretty pathetic when a team puts up 285.5 net yards to their competitions 529.5, and still manage to win pretty soundly.

5. LUElinks LUEshis
Horrible defense tactics and bad luck cost us this game. A Rush with two missed tackles for a touchdown and a late game QB sub while down led to an interception that also led to a field goal, these two things really sealed the deal on the game. If the game was simmed 10 times I really honestly believe it would have ended differently at least 7 of those times.

7. Austin Alcoholics
Interceptions for everyone! This game was insane to watch, about 500 yards put up by both sides, lots of turnovers, and a lead that was exchanged more than I thought possible. Really killed those Hail Mary play attempts at the end and won the day.

8. Farkistan Squirrels
Had absolutely no pass game, but a very good run showing against the Crusaders, and kept them to a single kick.

9. Auckland Raiders
Tough loss to the Bolts, still managed 324.5 net yards though.

10. Hattiesburg Hangovers
Let Laredo throw the ball all over the field, but still managed to grab the win with a last minute drive that got you a winning field goal.

11. Texas Bigga Bois
Got roughed up by the Pewnts but put up a respectable fight.

12. Houston Cougars
Great game with a horrible ending for you guys. Incredible pass game, but no run to speak of, makes you very one-dimensional. Hail Mary's at the end of the game gave you two interceptions that seal the game outcome.

13. Laredo Lesbians
Played back and forth against the Hangovers, but their last minute field goal won them the game. Put up the most yards and looked damn good though.

14. Kingston Sidewinders
Brutally beaten by the Bengals. Both your run and pass games were pretty well contained.

15. Gotham Crusaders
Pretty much disabled against Fark, both your run and pass were ineffective. Your defense managed to shut down the Fark pass though, if only it could have stopped the run :-/

16. Mudville Bombers
Painful loss to the Wildcats, no shame in losing this game, at least you managed to put points on the board.

East Conference Week Five Power Rankings

1. New York Grizzlies
Contained the Bengals rush and kept the pass game very limited. Both your pass and rush game looked exceptional, and BRBB could do very little to stop your steamroller.

2. Tupelo Kings
847.5 net yards against the Brawlers.

3. The Fighting Farvas
Pounded on the Devils for 517 yards and 51 points.

4. Pittsburgh Steel
Blitzed and scored all over the Mean Machines.

5. Niagara Rapids
Crushed the Cobras by ground and through the air.

6. Murfreesboro Taints
Great game against the Crabs, both teams only managed to put up one touchdown, both of which were total fluke plays. Came down to a kicker game, and Jason Ranjel stepped up to be the hero of the day.

7. Beaver City Crabs
Played the Taints in an incredibly close game, two missed field goals prevented you from forcing the game into overtime.

8. Frunkis Town Virus
Strong win over the Angerswords by closing down their rush and keeping their pass out of the end zone.

9. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals
"Waaaaah why aren't I ranked higher even though my team can beat those ranked 10 and below and has yet to beat anyone above that? Your rankings suck!"

Cry more.

But seriously, Master Sardu Tesch has another solid showing, sadly he cannot carry your team when you fail to put up any sort of rush game. One of the best games the Grizzlies have been given so far this season.

10. Chicago Wolves
Shut out the Kickers.

11. KingsTalk Angerswords
Lost to the Virus, but still managed to move the ball, too bad you couldn't move it into the end zone with your pass.

12. Twin City Cobras
Only managed to put up one touchdown against the Rapids, just couldn't move the ball almost all game.

13. Jersey Devils
Heavy loss against the Farvas, but you still managed 287 net yards, which is pretty respectable. Maybe you should think about starting Wes Ironhead over your beloved Bobby Winland. 44.5 yards, 14.8 average and a touchdown in only 3 rush plays, compared to Bobby's 32 yards, 2.5 average in 13 rush plays. Hell your QB Steve Collins looks like a better rush player.

14. West Virginia Mean Machines
Sure you got beaten hard against the Steel, but your team has honestly come a long way, and I believe you have a legitimate shot against a couple teams now. The Kickers are your next game, should be interesting.

15. Clemson Gamecock Kickers
The Wolves took you guys to school not allowing a single point and only 107 yards. Very tough loss.

16. Thundertown Brawlers

Id be pissed 2 if the score and stats were reversed, so I can understand your frustration but its not like we played the perfect game and you guys made mistakes, we totally missed on our defensive tactics

both teams made mistakes imo

Yeah but we stupidly tried something we knew for a fact didn't work, but players swore up and down it would, we tried it, and did exactly what we did last season.

Did you guys beat us fair? You sure did. Do I think you're a better team? Not really. No offense meant.

Kinda sums up how we felt after the Wildcat game, with no offense to the Wildcats as they have proven to be a pretty evenly matched opponent for us over the last three seasons. It's a sim, stuff happens..

Thanks for the rankings, we're looking forward to our upcoming stretch of games..

We were 7-9 in Season 2 and 9-7 in 3. We added a lot of players this season though. Our schedules kinda suck, neither of us really has any easy games the same week. Would just have to be your call I guess.

Eh, just a personal preference. I really can't see using a tie in rankings, but if if absolutely necessary I'd still go one rank, one number. Do what you will.

I still list them in order of winner here, I just tip my hat to the two games so far where the dominant team didn't win because of flukes.

Roll of the dice. This game is chance and numbers.

Like I said, do what you will. It still makes sense and looks good, just an anonymous preference. Keep up the good work.
