not sure how Knossos drops after the win.....maybe the spreadsheet knows that we want to see Knossos fail and this biases the rankings...

haha...there is some hidden attribute here isn't there! how is dorset so high? not ragging on them as they are a very good team, but in this their rankings aren't that high and they're right up there. just trying to figure out how this works...

if I ever get some time I will go through the spreadsheets...it is quite complicated looking.....oh actually I found the code that is responsible

If Knossos wins and owner = "The football factory" then Rank = previous rank - 3 and a poop on their stadium at midfield.

We have been using the 'team with the longest name wins' exploit for a season and half now and everyone just keeps thinking it is a joke. I'm surprised more people haven't tried it.

i think we are quite high up the list as we beat BlackWatch and have also played Knosso, Montcuq and Dublin. Thats 4 of the hardest teams in our division gone after 6 games and a record of 3-3

Does it take the teams you've played against into account? That'd be pretty cool if it did.

no but it must take into account the results of the teams u have faced and then the teams u are going to face still?

thats how the score predictions work anyhow

it looks like it does take into account teams you have played as there is a summary of the wins and losses of the teams you have played. In addition it uses the statistics of the teams you have played so it must factor in how good/bad those teams were? It also uses the simulator and looks at momentum (wins in a row).

If it is quite complicated...I just run it....it will be interesting to see how it looks in another couple weeks.

We beat the rippers but are ranked behind them.

That means Stirling>Rippers....and should be #1 if you use your logic from above.




Personally...>I liked the power rankings from last season and its predictions much much better than this seasons.
