As a jumping off point, I'll post prediction based upon the League Projector spreadsheet. I don't necessarily agree with these predictions. Hopefully this will provide some nice discussion.

Avengers 27 - Wolves 10
Daggers 35 - Energy 28
Slashers 50 - Bullitt 19
Blue Wolf 34 - All Stars 16
Lizard Lickers 38 - River Rats 14
Fury 28 - Red Celtics 27
Fanboys 25 - Villagers 9
Badgers 55 - Vanguard 14

Overall, I think it looks pretty accurate. I do have to question the Lizard Lickers - River Rats game. The Lizard Lickers could pull off the win, but I doubt it will be by that margin.

These scores aren't near as inflated as the West for tomorrow. It just goes to show how much more competitive the East is over the West this season.

I, for one, certainly hope not. I am anticipating a very close game, but I dont think we will get blown out either.

Wow 28-27 against the Fury. I'm really happy to have our team finally taken seriously this year. We were pretty bad the past couple seasons but we've improved leaps and bounds and I'm just happy it hasn't gone unnoticed. That said I hope the Red Celtics can pull out the win against an amazing Fury team that has really destroyed us the past 2 years! . Best of luck Tennessee!

And also I think this is a lot like the NBA. In the NBA the Western Conference had a very deep and balanced league with about 9 legitimate contenders while the Eastern Conference had about 3 legit contenders and were extremely top-heavy. I think it could be the same way this season. About 8 or 9 teams in the East can make the title game while I think the West only has about 3 teams that could but those 3 are capable of beating any of the 9 in the West meaning the Championship game should be a great one!

We didn't exactly destroy you either year. I thought we would, but in actuality, the games were fairly close. Season 2 saw us winning by two points. Season three was a larger margin of victory (11 points), but not an easy match regardless. It should be a good matchup and very close. I definitely can see RC taking this game. Your team matches up against Fury very well.

In other news, Mendenham had two sacks last season against your team. He could use a boost in the sacks ranking. Hopefully your QB agrees.

He got to know the Lizard Lickers QBs pretty well. The term "shot out of a cannon" definitely came to mind.

That said, the Red Celtics ARE a good matchup for us. We'll be pulling out all the stops today to get a victory.

Good luck!

Will the League Projector never learn? How many times were we favored to win last season, only to get punked on gameday? The predictions for us are always off, because apparently we like to run up the score in our wins. I actually expect our game with Memphis today to be a really good one (certainly an improvement over our game last season), and it could go either way, but to have Lizard Lick as the favorite, especially a heavy favorite, is ridiculous.

Yeah you know you're right. I thought I remembered getting leveled by you guys before but now that I look back they were a lot closer than I thought. My QB doesn't quite agree with your sack philosophy however. Better tell your QB to watch the middle though. Look who the league leaders in sacks is. The Dwarf is extra Grumpy today Best of luck

You deserve a nice rebound game after Saturday. To me, games between the Lizard Lickers and River Rats belong in a "pickem" category.

I'm unsure about our prediction, but it's certainly possible.

Bring on the Grumpy Dwarf. Snap, Alfonso, and Khalil need an after lunch snack. DeBric and Hews will finish off the scraps.

(I hope I don't end up eating those words.)

In early action, not many surprises.

SPOILERS

Slashers take care of the Bullitt, Avengers take out the Wolves, Badgers beat Viridia, Daggers beat the Energy, Blue Wolf knock off the All-Stars.

Of course, the three games I'm most interested in...Lizard Lickers vs River Rats, Fanboys vs Villagers, and Red Celtics vs Fury are the late games. LOL

Good job NERC.
