Here are the power rankings per that excel sheet formula that was posted in the game 5 thread. I think I input everything correctly. The O/P/R stands for Overall, Passing, Rushing and the numbers represent your rank in those categories vs the league.

Though I can see there have to be some errors in there somewhere. I will try and figure out what is wrong and edit it.

Having tried and failed to figure out that mash of an excel sheet, I can safely say that every person who reads this forum should thank WoC for doing this.

Not too hard, but just a lot of copy and pasting and input of what week each team beat which team. I've double checked it and I don't what I've done wrong, but the Birmingham Cardinals entries don't look right. The documentation could be a lot clearer and I'm not sure what a lot of the data some of the extra sheets really represents.

Ok, I fixed the data entry errors I had and the first post should be correct.

i guess those power ratings are accurate from a mathematical point of view, however personally i would rate birmingham a lot higher on that list.

When I got the spreadsheet open, I followed the (poor) instructions and had a lot of dirty, left over data that the author had left in. I didn't want to delete in case their was code behind it. Did you just delete?

I don't think that's correct...

Simple math, they can't be below us... And i think more about 15-20 ranking for my team

But i congrats WOC for his amazing job for our league
We surely can fix this quickly.

I'll double check to see if there were any more data entry errors.

As for the sheets, you do have to clear out or outright paste over existing data in the sheet (part of the unclear documentation)...

Also, I see that the Amsterdam Spartans were sold back and now have a new owner and are now rated 33....

Power rankings are never exact this early anyway, it's only 5 weeks into the season after all. Once more teams start knocking teams with current good records off, things will start to reflect the more true picture.

this is crap. How can Whitchurch be above us by 12 Rankings when we beat them this season?

Ok, I think I discovered an error in the formulas in the sheet itself that affect half of the teams in the league. I PMd the creator of the sheet to have it fixed since the sheet is protected, I can't do it.

Basically, what this error means if I'm right is that, going alphabetically teams Dublin-Wolverhampton have something off in their data, which would help indicate why Whitchurch's rankings are off and a few others. Aarhus-Dallas should be correct provided there no other errors.
