sorry, not as detailed due to the weekend and having to fly back from LA today.

1. Carolina Hammer 4-0 Last week = 1
Carolina continues to show why they are the #1 team and early season favorite with a 16 point win over the Rock Stars. The Rock Stars played the Hammer tough, ending the 3rd quarter at a 10-10 tie. In the 4th quarter, Carolina came out to play and racked up the 16 points needed for the final 26-10 win. Cloudwalker was in a daze afterwards and wasn’t able to answer any questions at the postgame press conference, but just kept repeating Purpul Jeezuz?, Purpul Jeezuz? Up next, Carolina gets a little of a breather as they travel to #11 Colorado.

2. DC Warriors 4-0 Last week = 2
A 69-0 win over Cleveland is what this team should have done, so they get no props and no criticism after doing their business. Coach Jearly had been looking forward to next week’s matchup against the Warlocks, but it appears he will have to wait 2 more games to get DC their first test of the season when they take on the Carebears. Up next is #13 West Bend.

3. Care Bears 4-0 Last week = 3
Care Bears got the first crack at the gutted West Bend team and came out with the a 96 point victory. Next week looks like another blowout against #16 Cincinnati. After a blowout against West Bend and the upcoming Cincinnati game, they can be forgiven if they start scouting Orlando this week. Up Next: #16 Cincinnati.

4. Rock Stars 3-0 Last week = 4
Rock Stars hung tough with Carolina until giving up 16 points and the game in the 4th quarter. However, they’ve fared the best against any team that’s played Carolina so far and will remain in the #4 spot. Up next, look for them to get back on track against a very good #9 Oregon Ducks.

5. Dogg Pound 3-1 Last week = 5
Another week, another blowout win for the Dogg Pound – this time the Slaughter were the victim of a 79 point blowout. Up next is #13 Compton who will give them a better test than Cincinnati, but Orlando is already looking forward to the #3 Care Bears in 2 weeks.

6. Eleven Wise Monkeys 3-1 Last week = 7
The Monkey’s hung 80 points up on Compton and dealt Compton their worst loss of the season. That victory coupled with NY’s poor showing against French Lick moves the Monkeys up one slot this week. Up next is the very dangerous #8 French Lick.

7. Canton Hall of Famers 3-1 Last week = 8.
Canton had their work cut out for them in week 4 as Oregon grabbed the early 14 pt lead on the strength of Knob McDude’s 2 TD passes. However, the 2nd half was all Canton as they outscored Oregon 20-3 to escape Autzen Stadium with a 20-17 win after Billy Bomber hit Gerry Rice for the td with 48 seconds left in the game. Up next is #15 Compton.

8. French Lick 2-2 Last week = 9
French Lick came out to play in week 4 as Stephen Watson threw for 3 tds in the 1st quarter before NY came powering back to take the lead on a Stone pass to J. High with 6:10 left in the 4th quarter. However, French Lick wasn’t finished yet as they came storming back and Stephen Watson threw his 4th td of the game with 37 seconds left in the game to score the upset victory. In so doing, they make their much-desired move into the top 8 in the league. Things don’t get any easier next week as they face off against the #4 Rock Stars. The Rock Stars are a tall order, but don’t count out the resurgent French Lick.

9.Oregon Ducks 1-3 Last week = 10
Oregon continues the climb up the rankings after their 2nd straight loss?? The 3 point loss against Canton continues to show this team is for real. Couple that with West Bend’s gut job and NY’s loss to French Lick and its time to move Oregon in front of #9 NY. Up next is the #4 Rock Stars and I don’t think Oregon is going to be happy any longer with almost wins – they’re ready to bust that door down.

10. NY Steel-heads 1-3 Last week = 6
You’re breaking my heart Claystone – where did the vaunted NY Defense go??? A loss to French Lick with 37 seconds left is a heartbreaker for a proud franchise. NY has 3 games to get things together against #13 Cleveland, #14 West Bend, and #16 Cincinnati, before they have to face off against the #3 Care Bears. They need to get things together soon, or they will be in danger of missing the playoffs this year.

11. Colorado Storm 1-3 Last week = 12
Colorado shrugged off all comparisons to Columbus in week 4 with a dominating performance of Columbus. It’s a one week high however as #1 Carolina comes to town next week for what looks like a very brutal game.

12. Columbus Spartans 0-4 Last week = 13
A disappointing loss to Colorado for sure, but a gutted West Bend allows Columbus to move up to the #12 slot this week. Look for them to try and recover from the Colorado loss next week against the #5 Dogg Pound.

13. Cleveland Greyhounds 1-3 Last week = 14
Cleveland was blanked for the first time in the season as they fall to 1-3. They may be licking their chops as they get the disappointing #9 NY next week, but this reporter doesn’t think they’ll have enough to pull off the upset.

14. West Bend Warlocks 2-2 Last week = 9
Props to kerg01 for doing the team and the new owner right as he prepares to sell the team, but the loss of talent was evident this week as they lost by 96 to the Care Bears. Things don’t look to get any easier next week as they face off against #2 DC.

15. Compton ‘Nilla Wafers 0-4 Last week = 15
Compton continues to have a rough go of it after suffering an 80 point loss to the Monkeys, but true to their word they did score this week. Heck, they did it twice! Up next is #7 Canton and I’m betting they’ll score again but nowhere near enough to pull of the W.

16. Cincinnati Slaughter 0-4 Last week = 16
Ouch. Cincinnati suffered the worst loss of the season as they fell 82-3 to Orlando. Things will get even tougher the next week as they face off against the #3 Care Bears. It probably won’t be until week 11 and Colorado before this team starts having a shot to win a game.

Too bad about the slaughter, I feel very sorry for the players that are still stuck on that team now, the owner has been inactive since the 1st.

How did I know those were the two plays that were going to be called out when I saw links? GG Compton, I thought we would win, but had no clue it would be by that margin!
