After another great week of games, here are the new rankings. The list of unbeatens shrinks by several as the top 5 remain unchanged.
Biggest riser: Flint Tropics (4 Spots)
Biggest Faller: In San Jose Pimpin Aint Easy (4 spots)
Team Name/Record/Prev Ranking #
The playoff teams:
1) Vinland Vikings 4-0 (1)
Put up 48 points on a previously unbeaten team. Offense will make your head go dizzy.
2) Halifax Hashishim 4-0 (2)
Played another good team, got another win.
3) Saskatchewan Sasquatches 4-0 (3)
Demonstrates what championship football is to everyone else
4) Queen City Black Cats 4-0 (4)
Showed that the previous game was a fluke by putting up 170 points and allowing 0. Next game will actually be a challenge.
5) Cheyenne Mountain Air Force 4-0 (5)
Another winner over an unbeaten. Faces their biggest challenge yet next week vs #4 QC Black Cats
6) Cold Lake Wolverines 4-0 (7)
Possibly the easiest schedule of the unbeatens, but they win and that's what matters
7) Nebraska Husker Maniacs 3-1 (9)
Continue adding pieces to their team. Possibly have the most lvl 20+ players of any team in the league, but how will the loss of chemistry affect them?
8) Sudbury Spartans 3-1 (8)
A very impressive team that isn't talked about much. Only loss was to #5 Cheyenne.
9) Saskatoon Guerillas 3-1 (6)
Dark horse still looms despite recent loss to #1 Vinland. Be on the lookout for this team come postseason.
10) Manitoba Icemen 3-1 (13)
Quietly climbing up the rankings despite having a pretty tough schedule
11) Vancouver Vindicators 3-1 (11)
Beat a team that had better players (on paper), and did so convincingly.
12) Revelstoke Revolution 2-2 (12)
The highest ranking 2-2 team finally got an easy game this past week and took advantage of it
13) Hillsburgh Hillbillies 3-1 (15)
Three in a row almost makes you want to join the family, except you can't figure out which family member is the sister to hit on because they all look the same...dirty inbreeds.
14) Calgary Thunder 2-2 (10)
Beat the easy teams handily, loses to the good teams by just a little. Can't quite get over the top
15) Destruction Bay Dragons 3-1 (16)
Easy games over, a real team knocks them out of the rank of the unbeatens. Put up a decent fight though...don't count them out yet.
16) Montreal Canadiens 3-1 (17)
They finally beat a team like they were supposed to. Was the week three loss a fluke or bugged?
Still competing for a spot:
17) Calgary Wrestlers 3-1 (18)
Plays above their talent level but may not have enough to make it in the playoffs
18) Red Deer Blue Elk 2-2 (14)
Road to redemption paused against #2. This is the second time now they lost to a team ranked #2.
19) St. John's Salty Dogs 1-3 (19)
So much talent to be 1-3, but one game was bugged. Keep a lookout, this team will rise steadily up the rankings throughout the season
Need a miracle:
20) Winnipeg Warriors 1-3 (20)
One of the hardest schedules so far, playing the #3, #9, and #10 teams.
21) Flint Tropics 2-2 (25)
At least they win against the cupcakes
22) Kelowna Outlaws 0-4 (22)
Best team to not win a game, they've had a very tough schedule
23) Portsmouth Cavaliers 1-3 (24)
Finally they get a win...but look who it was against. (Barkmere)
24) Saskatchewan Beavers 0-4 (23) This team is loaded with talent, but it's not showing up.
25) In San Jose Pimpin Aint Easy 0-4 (21)
Still a lot better than last season despite being winless in the current campaign
No hope:
26) Quebec Boreal 2-2 (26)
After two opening wins against cupcakes, they can't hide how bad they are anymore
27)Toronto Smoke 0-4 (27)
Will probably start out 0-8 before they get a real chance against the Crusaders
Should be demoted to the D-league ASAP:
28) Iqaluit Arctic Wolves 0-4 (28)
Has a few chips...just way too few to play with
29) Castlegar Crusaders 0-4 (29)
Doesn't really have any chips...they just watch from the sidlelines
30) Barkmere Bulldawgs 0-4 (30)
Who wants a free win?
31) Bloodwesier Bugle All Stars 0-4 (32)
Two consecutive games of scoring might be the longest streak they have all year.
32) Peterborough Preachers 0-4 (31)
My grandma wouldn't have given up 170 points.
