(Barcelona) - The Barcelona Chupacabras picked up their first regular season win in franchise history yesterday, on the back of a monster running attack that shred the Odessa Pipers defense.

We were able to catch up with one of the stars of that three headed attack, Chazno Run. Here's that interview:

------------------------------------------------------------

1. So how do you like playing for the Chupacabras?

I'm really liking it. We have a great bunch of guys and we're really starting to gel. Once we get in a groove we're going to be tough to stop.

2. Barcelona picked up its first win of the season today against an equally matched Odessa Pipers team. Does it feel good?

It feels great. We had a tough time against our first two opponents, but we put in some extra reps in practice and it all paid off. The Pipers are a good team and we were able to move the ball at will, that bodes well for the future.

3. You had some good stats today in the running game. That three headed RB attack is brutal. Do you like the monster that drove the team today?

Yeah, Aristotle, lightspeed and I had a pretty good game. It ended up that my name got called a lot so I carried the load, Aristotle punched it in and lightspeed came up with some amazing big-time plays. I see it as the O-line is the claws and we HBs are the mouth. The claws pin them down then we come in and suck'em dry.

4. What do you think about the upcoming opponents, The Boston Piggers?

Well you know I was actually a member of the Piggers for 24 hours, then the owner shipped me off to the highest bidder (not the Chupacabras) without even talking to me, but its all good. Now I'm with the Chupacabras and we're going to leave some dried up little piggies on the field on Saturday. I'll be sure to wave to Coach pats4892 as I streak down the sideline and into the endzone.

5. You had 24 rushes with 134 yards and a touchdown. How does that feel?

I feel I could have done better. There are always those questions of what if I'd cut it back earlier or if I just could have broke that tackle. When I get the ball I have one destination and if I don't get there, I'm not satisfied. In the end, we won the game and thats all that really matters.

6. As a whole your team had 52 carries for 311 yards and 5 touchdowns. Can you believe it?

Thats amazing. Thats what happens when your o-line opens holes you could drive a truck through. They did an excellent job of getting us into the secondary where we could use our open field abilities. Aristotle lightspeed and I will be taking them hogs out to the best steak house in town. You've heard of the running of the bulls, now you know why they're running.

7. Is your team headed in the right direction?

Of course we are. We won didn't we. Seriously, we faced the top two teams in the conference the first two games. We got 311 yards of momentum and we'll be building on it next game, then we'll have 600 yards of momentum and a side of bacon.

8. What do you honestly think of the GM's and owners?

They are great. The owner always has a new girl hes bringing around to show us. It might be distracting but I enjoy it. They really know how to give inspirational speeches although DerekEstep is always calling us "ladies". It makes me wonder if he really had something in his eye or if he was winking at me...

9. You had a fumble during the game, what are your thoughts on that?

My thoughts are fumbles suck. I just have to forget about it and make sure it doesn't happen again. For extra practice I bought a couple boxes of candy bars, I'm gonna go run around the locker room dodging fat guys an see how long I can keep the box intact.

10. How far do you see this team going?

It will go as far as we (the players) want it to go. If we want it bad enough we can get to the playoffs and even the ship, but its going to take hardwork from both the players and coaches. A couple nights with the owner's ladies wouldn't hurt either

------------------------------------------------------------

There you have it. Chazno Run, the newest member of the Barcelona Chupacabras, has already made a splash with his teammates at RB.

The Chupacabras face the Boston Piggers this week in what should be a great game.
