The Barcelona Chupacabras will be announcing in a press conference today at 3:00 pm that they have established a website to promote the team.
Details of the website were not disclosed at this time.
We do, however, know that it seems they are pushing the release of the website a little early considering that it is not 100% complete at this time.
We caught up with the owner of the Barcelona Chupacabras, BigCowboysFan, and he had this to say:
"Well, we will be announcing the release of the new Barcelona Chupacabras website. As of now, the site appears to be 100% fully functional. The bugs that were in the site prior to the "Go Live" date have been worked out. We are constantly adding new content to the site that is not only relevant to the Chupacabras, but also relevant to the entire league. Both Alpha and Zeta will find useful information on the site. Right now, the site is tilted to being useful for the team obviously, but as time goes by in the next week or so, we plan to add on team leader stats, conference leader stats, league leader stats, a chat room, a forum, and generally just try to make it a website where people can go to not only show their support for the Chupacabras, but also where people can go to show their support for Europe East 'A' #5.
Currently, there are a lot of things that you would expect from a team website. Hell, I even added a form for prospects and recruits to fill out if they are interested in joining the Chupacabras. It's shaping up to be one of the best sites in all of GLB!"
