Madagascar Mobsters vs. Burundi Scorpions
Whoever plays the Mobsters in their current state with a D filled with CPUs... win. Nuff said.
Scorpions win 10-34.
Valla Beach Woolsheds vs. Nairobi Warthogs
The Woolsheds are a team that had an unfortunate start. The good thing is that they should be able to win this one. I'd say they should be able to win until somewhere around August 19th, till then I have confidence in winning their games. As for the Warthogs they aren't necessarily a bad team but they aren't one of the top tier teams I'm afraid.
Woolsheds win it 27-7.
Oum-Chalouba Zebras vs. Zambia Lions
Coming off a big win against the Mombasa Spears who they shut out, the Lions have rebounded from their loss in the first game of the season. Can they win again against another playoff team? Unfortunately for the Zebras yes... I think the Lions can win.
Final score in favor of the Lions 13-24.
Kalahari Vikings vs. Windhoek White Rhinos
Can the Rhinos win this game? Yes they can... but what if I pulled a reversal and said they would lose? Okay I'm not that mean... I have respect for the White Rhinos and this game should be easy. Maybe not as easy as their most recent game but something like that.
Final score Vikings 6, White Rhinos 41.
Niger Mambas vs. Cape Town Billievers
The Mambas barely missed the playoffs last year... the Billievers had a strong end to their season and also missed the playoffs last year. Out of these two teams I believe the Billievers have the highest chance of making it to the playoffs this year.
Billievers will win it 3-21.
Calumet Wolverines vs. Zamunda Prince Akeem Joffey
Hey the Prince Akeem Joffey has arrived... and I already forgot their team name last year... I'm assuming it's the Headhunters? Going off of memory and not actually looking this up so deal with the guess of mine like you deal with these predictions
Now back to the prediction... I think this team has a chance to make it to the playoffs BUT they could end up like last season's Niger Mambas... great start but a bad second half of the season where they barely missed the playoffs. In this game I'm taking the side of this team, the Zamunda Prince Akeem Joffey.
Final score Wolverines 10, Prince Akeem Joffey 23.
Mombasa Spears vs. Tanzanian Morning Wood
Game of the week here. With all the trash talking going around these past few days it has definitely brought up the hype for this game... too bad the trash talking wasn't anything like Woolsheds vs... I dunno another good team caliber (Ridgebacks anyone?)
Well it is almost a coin toss for me to decide who I pick but I'm siding with the Morning Wood here more because they won against a tough team last week. Meanwhile the Spears took a shutout loss to the Lions who in turn loss to the Cape Verde Kings. In case you forgot the Morning Wood just got done beating the Kings.
Morning Wood wins it in a close one 24-30.
Cape Verde Kings vs. Buckeye Nation
Game of the week runner up so pay attention! After their loss to the Morning Wood the Kings look to bounce back against the Buckeye Nation. Can they do it? I, personally, hope not. But this will truly be the first challenge that we look forward to this season. Good luck to the Kings in this game, if not for being on the Nation team I might have picked you guys
Need I say more? Of course I would choose the Nation to win. It might be a close game though, final score 16-20.
Well it was quite late this time... I was too busy watching the Twins baseball game (Minnesota duh) and I was watching/reading pretty much everything on the Packers-Jets deal that sent Favre there for conditional draft picks. Thoughts on this anyone?
