Got some big games in Alpha this "week". Barcelona hosts Amsterdam in their toughest match up so far. Zurich travels to Liverpool in what should be a good match up there. Judah and Scotland looks like a good game in the making. Also, there's Rotterdam hosting Madrid, a game of two Alpha conference heavies.

None of the games in Zeta seem to have the same punch this "week", but we'll wait and see. The re-built Maulers have struggled to two early victories, but that's likely to end with them playing Brighton today. Camelot will do their best to take the Hammers down a peg or two today as well. Hamburg continues their early season gauntlet as they try to upset the Cardinals from Chelsea.

I'll be away for a time while the games are being played but late this evening/early morning I should be back around to give everyone their due. Good luck to everyone today (except not too much for Hamburg of course).

Nice game Camelot. It was a helluva lot closer than the score. A couple big plays for us was the difference.

Barcelona almost got us! Great game and strategy guys. Thanks for giving us something to work on with out beating us! I'm pretty shocked, but not because you guys aren't talented. You are and you definitely did much better game planning. Great game.

The sim let us kick the extra point after an OT score. I wonder if that is a bug.

I think the OT extra point stuff is more of an oversight than a bug. I saw a post where Bort said he forgot about that but it wasnt a big enough impact to worry about. Paraphrasing of course.

And great game Wildcats. You guys marched up and down the field we just managed to stop you from punching it into the end zone.

Good game Gnomes. Big improvement over last year. Had the lead for a while there too.

Good game Madrid. We had some roster issues I was unaware of which played into the outcome, but we'll get it straight next time for sure.

I feel for you. That would have been a great win. I'm sure your team will hold on to that all year and it will be a huge morale boost as you move toward the playoffs. You guys are a good club.

We are going back to work on our defensive strategy. I think we have the players on D to be dominant, but the strategy was not good this week. We know what we did poorly and are glad we didn't take a loss to learn our lesson.

Playing the Invaders was about as boring as I thought it'd be. It's too bad, what happened to them.

I noticed that there are 5 winless teams still in Zeta. Not good. I thought the whole league would be more competitive this year, but instead many teams got worse and only a few got better. I didn't see that coming.

Thanks... A couple of bad plays on our part and lack of offense.... We will get it fixed soon.
