As life often does, I found myself sitting next to Sofaking, current owner and head coach of the Khodumodumo's Revenge during lunch today, just before the game against the favored Seattle NEThawks. When I asked him about his game plan today he just looked at me and said "I expect our players to play hard, every minute of the game. They have alot of experienced guys on the squad, they are a good team."

The coach wasn't kidding, the Revenge (Formally known as the Zulu Warriors) are an almost 3 TD underdogs in this game. Most odds makers are putting the game around 9-28.

The team has done well since the buyout, already doubleing their total wins from last year (1-15) with a good 2-0 start. However traveling all the way from Africa to Seattle may prove to be a big challenge.

"We had to get passports just go play, the lines at the passport office were very long and some of our players didn't have the proper paperwork."

Mack Strongarm, franchise QB mumbled something about why a Seattle team is in the conference. He was overheard saying something about "its been raining since we have been here".

In a few short hours, the two teams will take to the soggy field in Seattle.

Coach said it best I think at the end of lunch when he said "You travel across 4 timezones, 2 days, through customs and legal red tape, to get here and realize you left your raincoat at home." Coach, in this writers opinion, you will need more than a rain coat to protect you from the storm you are about to be in.

Ouch! That ass beating hurt!

We tried to find a way to overcome, but in the end we just couldnt pull it off.

As odd as it sounds, I want to give Kudos to my Defense.

Checking out the scoring for Seattle, the defense actually held them 4 times to field goals, 3 inside the red zone. They also got a nice 33 yard pass play on us for a TD and 2 other TD passes.

The other scores were from Special Teams play, 2 PR for touchdowns and 1 fumble recovery for TD.

12 drops

Anyway, thanks for the reality check, I can only hope we get the chance to play you again this year
