It's going to take a lot better than 7-9....I'd say 10-6 or the very least, 9-7, and tiebreakers will almost certainly make a difference.

Just check the records for the last 3 seasons. Look at the team that placed 8th in the conference. That will give you an idea.

I remember reading Bort says he has all that. It's just not implemented yet. Would be nice to look and see what happened back then.

You have to go through the Game Logs of the players on each team. In this case I knew who was in first place in each conference so I just looked who they played week 17 (they would be the 8th seat) clicked on a game log for one of their players and counted the wins. 8th seat Alpha conference had 12 wins. 8th seat west pack shells (a now gutted team) no idea... since he gutted all his players I can't look through their game logs. Anyway, depends on the competition in the league... 9 - 12 wins depending on your conference.

I would guess at least an 8-8 record to have a shot, with some help from tiebreakers.

Las Vegas (currently Westpac) had 10 wins last season as the 8th seed. I would assume that the Cans, Incinerators, Titans, Caninites, Auha, Gods, and Canes will win at least 10 each again this season. The Heat look like they will be among this group, as well. Vanuata should be on the edge, along with Nauru.

Judging by that, there could possibly be a team with 10 wins that misses the playoffs. I would say you will need at least 9 wins to even have an outside chance of making the playoffs in Zeta.

I guess you can eliminate the Canes from the equation now, so that will open up another spot for a borderline team.

I doubt that. The Canes had the unfortunate circumstance of opening up against the only two teams in Zeta that are really a challenge to them. They lost both games, which doesn't bode well for the post season.

But, I can see the Canes winning their next 14 games. There will be some challenges, for sure, but I don't think there is a team on their schedule the rest of the way who is objectively better than them.

He's talking about the Canes disbanding their team as of today. This was their last game as a team.
