Dam I love this guy ! He doesn't take crap off anyone and won't kiss ass just to play football. Things have now become personal and this guy has a chip on his shoulder ! I feel sorry for his opponents, and whichever team trades for him is getting one helluva QB ! Lock and load baby !

I'm going to lol so hard when the Packers trade him to TB, who then trade him to Minnesota then he beats the Packers twice. Oh and Aaron Rodgers turns out to be a bust.

I wonder why Favre didn't list the Detroit Lions as an acceptable trading partner... He DID say he wanted to play for the NFC North, right?!?!

I am getting sick of people thinking the Packers owe Rodgers ANYTHING. The kid has not started an NFL game in his life. He may turn out to be a good QB, maybe even a great one, but is that possibility worth throwing away 1 or 2 more years as a serious Super Bowl contender?

If Green Bay took Favre back, lost Rodgers in the process and it turns out that Rodgers becomes a great NFL quarterback, I would STILL think Green Bay made the right move. Hell, we have Brian Brohm on the bench now, a guy who could become a great QB himself. Why not go for another Super Bowl or 2. You have already squandered the careers of one of the greatest QBs of all time with only 1 ring to show for it by not surrounding him with the talent he deserves (I still think Dan Marino's story is one of the most tragic in sports. That guy was the best QB of all time). Try to get a couple more to show for such a brilliant career and consequences be damned!

No.

Joe Montana was the best QB of all time, who also happened to have the best team around him.

Marino was AMAZING, but Montana was better.

Argument certainly could be made. You could throw John Elway in that mix too.

It is kind of like arguing who the best RB of all time was. You really can't go wrong if you argue Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Earl Campbell.... argument could be made for any of them.

While I HATE the 49ers, and I was a really big fan of Elway, I would probably have to agree with you though.

The thing I respect most about Joe Montana, and never mind the Post-Season Success, was his ability to maintain his level of play no matter what.

This guy missed 1½ Seasons with a BROKEN BACK!! His first game back he throws for 370 yards and 4 TDs. That's pretty sweet.

And he was still awesome in Kansas City at the end of his career when he didn't have Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones, Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, and 4 Hall of Fame offensive linemen surrounding him.

The guy was a machine.

I am a die hard Packer fan and secretly I am hoping for this to happen. I think the Packers have really fucked up in this whole scenario.

If he does turn out to be a bust, it'll seriously be one of the most epic moments in sports history. WE DON'T WANT YOU BRETT YOU'RE OLD AND WE'RE GOING WITH THIS AWESOME UNPROVEN QB. Suddenly, double INTs:TDs ratio. SHIT.

Why not? That plan worked out GREAT for the Lions when Barry Sanders wanted out...
