I did this thread a little bit last season. It’s kind of a fun opinion based prediction thread. At the moment it is only Zeta but I may do both sometimes. I also wouldn’t count on me to do this for each set of games.
Ok, so there are not any great games in Zeta this week. Not to mention it is kind of hard to tell who is for real and who isn’t.
Zeta Game of the Week
I don’t feel there is one this week.
St. Petersburg Storm(2-0) vs Chernobyl Radionuclides (1-1)
St. Petersburg is one of the top 3 teams in Zeta and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Chernobyl is a little to hard to read at the moment. I see Chernobyl being a playoff contender but I don’t see them putting up a great fight against St. Pete
Prediction: 24-13 (St. Petersburg)
London Head Hunters (2-0) vs. Orange Blood Nation (0-2)
London is definitely the favorite in Zeta and a huge favorite for this game. OBN hasn’t been given a good chance in EEAA#4 yet. They got a schedule that starts off about as hard as it gets. London isn’t slowing down.
Prediction: 44-6 (London)
Sydney Tire Irons (1-1) vs. Hat Creek Cattle Co. (2-0)
Sydney is a highly improved team from last season. Hat Creek is continuing their awesomeness from last season with a high powered Offense and a good enough defense. I have high respect for Sydney but I don’t see them slowing that Offense down especially after their last 2 games
Prediction: 34-23 (Hat Creek)
The Look (2-0) vs. Carluke Cobras (1-1)
The Look, is looking pretty darn good this season. Carluke is looking pretty good too. I can see both contending for a Zeta playoff spot easily. The Look however is the better team in my opinion and I think they will win this one.
Prediction: 20-6 (The Look)
Longreach Wildcats (2-0) vs. Grodno Buckaroos (0-2)
Longreach is like a huge improvement while Grodno is a huge deprovement. I do however think Longreach has not had a true test yet and this week isn’t one either. Prediction: 38-3 (Longreach)
C-town Hoodlums(2-0) vs. Piotreks Fantasy (0-2)
I hate seeing a team as good as Tricity was to be turned into the team called Piotreks Fantasy. On the other hand it’s awesome to see a team like C-town turn things around and start off 2-0. I predict that 2 to turn to 3 for both teams
Prediction: 22-3 (C-town)
Prague Panthers (0-2) vs. Subotica Scorpions (0-2)
Prague is a great team to be 0-2. I see Prague going far this year despite there tough and rough start. Hang in there Prague, that includes pulling one off and beating Subotica
Prediction: 27-7 (Prague)
Volograd Berserks (1-1) vs. Haguenau Coyotes(0-2)
Volograd is pretty good even though they lost to that scary LHH team. Not much to say about this one except Volograd should win or else there season isn’t going very far.
Prediction: 26-7 (Volograd)
Oh and to keep the tradition up.
