Tasmania Tigers – Big wins in the first two weeks, rest of the schedule is easy in comparison, especially this week.

Battle for number 2

SAFSrbija Endzone – Didn’t get the Tigers, but can they get the Vampires?
Wollongong Vampires – Gave the Tigers everything and almost squeaked out a win, are they good enough to take down the Endzone?

Who gets a home playoff game?

Newcastle Minotaurs – Impressive start, can they keep it up? Defense has been lights out.
Vanuatu Volcano – Easy beginning, but how will they do against the Piranhas?
Huli Warriors – Destroyed the Piranhas, will they keep it up?

Early Playoff Race

Hattrick Srbija – A couple of nice wins to start off.
Micronesian Mutineers – Struggled at the beginning, can they right the ship?
Sydney Hammerhead – Good start but the schedule gets harder later.
Antarctica Seals – Continue to show improvement, but good enough for the playoffs this year?
Melbourne Piranhas – Look good on paper, but can they show it on the field?

Probably Still a Year Away

Chillicothe Convicts – Another team that has improved a lot, but enough for the playoffs?
UWS OUTLAWS – Continued improvement, will win a few games this year, just not for a few weeks.

Gutted, Sold or Left for Dead

Las Vegas NightStalkers – Recently demoted and sold, might be lost too as Las Vegas isn’t in Oceania!
Hobart Longhorns – Should be renamed to the Inactives! Could be a multi account scam gone bad.
Tasmania Devils – Good team that was surprisingly gutted, taking the pole position to demotion.

Week 3 Top Games

Vampires at Endzone
Winner gets inside track for the second seed.

Seals at Convicts
Winner can think about the playoffs, loser might be a year away still.

I think the convicts will sneak in the playoffs this year.

They sure could. I think the top 6 teams should get in without too much hassle, but the last two playoff spots have many suitors. Convicts and the Seals have improved a lot, Mutineers and Piranhas look decent on paper but have played poorly. Hammerhead and Hattrick have started hot. I could see any 2 of the 6 in the playoffs right now.

The Seals at Convicts game will tell quite a bit for those two teams, one will stay in contention while the other will be seriously handicapped to make the playoffs.

I agree completely with your assessment of the Seals vs Convicts....This is a game I looked at on the early schedule and figured we really had to win.

It will be a close one....but hopefully we can pull the "W" out of there.

Thanks fellas, I'll try and do it at least every other week, but we will see how it goes. Got some ideas for Pro bowl selection that shouldn't be so time intensive to do as well that I'll share later. Sorry I couldn't get to it last year.

Mutineers will be lucky to win 5 games this season at this point. It's not as bad as the Devil's but it's looking pretty grim on the home front. Our offense can't move the ball and our defense can't stop anyone.

The Nightstalkers are on rebuilding mode, so we won't be competitive until I find the right players for what I want to do with this team.

I change the name without changing the city.....and now I'll have to wait til next season to change the name again.
