l18 receiver playing against 3 corners 20+, who all have superior shut down builds (hell, our entire secondary was on the league leders last year for INT's).

37 times he got thrown to, and made 21 catches.

To boot, no backup in the WR DC, so the guy had to have been totally gassed by the 3rd quarter.

total bullshit

I'm still pissed off. I don't mind losing to teams that out gameplan us, but to have the correct defensive package on the field every play, the players to play that defense, and to get torched like we're a l1 slow build team is utter crap.

You do realize that the scouting bars only account for skill points and not special abilities/equipment?

You can have all the scouting bars in the world and all the raw stats, but special abilities really help even out your performance and add consistency and increase big play opportunities.

While I'm all for avoiding special abilities like the plague until the mid-20's it does mean you can expect to lose to teams with lower scouting bars since they have invested in them and in some respects will perform better as a result.

Man SA's are a joke and at level 18 you don't have that many points to invest in anything to make SA's woth it. Bort has said SA's wont be worth it 'till you get higher stats. So when you play a team you are better than all but like two aspects of the game and lose its kinda a joke.

It's a bug, been talking to Bort about it.

Mind you, none of my angst this morning is directed at the Cossacks. It's due to putting in countless hours on our defensive sets, only to have a bug blow it all to hell.

hell, i have a lv 17 receiver on my team, who is leading the team(and maybe the conference) in receptions; he plays the slot, so maybe my QBs vision is high enough now that he's seeing the mismatch of a WR against a LB or something; either way, it's all good with me

This is a team I am just following to follow them. They only allowed 142 yards rushing and their rush defense is 18 and the other team's rushing is 27. 129.5 yards allowed passing with their pass defense 24 and the other teams passing 36 and receiving 27.

Not awesome to watch the same receive run the same route against your ballhawk defense 30 times, and have your higher-level CB be "fooled" by the exact same route for 21 receptions in half a game. Again, anyone wants to challenge what we say, watch the second half of our game as if you were on our team. After the exact same thing has been brought up in the bug/support forum by other teams.

Bugs that break the whole point of spending hours upon hours planning offenses and defenses, and spending money, to have none of it mean anything whatsoever are not awesome, they're broken. That means it WAS an awesome game. If my WR doesn't spend at least half the season having man-coverage close CBs falling back and letting me get 7-10 yard passes EVERY play, why should I pay money to keep him? I should expect my WR to get 20 catches every game?

Sorry, I'm pissed. Don't watch play by play, watch the actual dots, imagine you're a Tiger, and watch the whole second half.

Sorry if this -seems- like poor sportsmanship. It's not. I was enjoying the first half of the game, and we were NOT dominating at all, it was a close and good game. Then this bullshit started. I never complained about losing before, except in jest and good fun. This wasn't good fun.
