West Conference Week one Power Rankings.

1. Pewntenheimer "Mighty" Pewnts
Did the Crusaders REALLY put up 20 points against you? You guys are still our top until someone takes it from you, but today wasn't a very good showing.

2. Hammond Bayou Bengals
Nice win over the Greyhounds. You shut down their ground game and took control by forcing them to pass. the score makes the game look much closer than it actually was.

3. Twin Cities Wildcats
The Wildcats hit the season running in an impressive defeat of the Bolts. A very strong run game with an accurate pass game won them the day easily.

4. LUElinks LUEshis
In the clash of the Forum teams the LUEshis came out on top with a powerful showing by their running and passing game. Two seasons left out in the cold has only made us stronger, we're looking to host a couple playoff games this season.

5. San Diego Bolts
No shame in a loss to the Wildcats, the Bolts still remain a top team and possibly the most dangerous to underestimate.

6. Tampa Bay Greyhounds
Tough first game against the Bengals, despite your run game being shut down you put up a strong effort and lost within a very small margin.

7. Hattiesburg Hangovers
Dominated Houston in yards, couldn't really contain their pass game though. Good win, just not great.

8. Farkistan Squirrels
Strong loss against the LUEshis, kept the game somewhat close, and managed to put up plenty of yards on the ground and in the air.

9. Auckland Raiders
Nice defeat of Texas, controlled the game and came away with a solid win.

10. Austin Alcoholics
Easily defeated the Bombers, but sadly it doesn't really prove much at this point.

11. Texas Bigga Bois
Tough loss to The Raiders today, not much else to say.

12. Laredo Lesbians
Great win against the Sidewinders today, proved to be tougher than previously thought.

13. Kingston Sidewinders
Weak showing against the Lesbians, rush game was shut down and were forced to rely on their somewhat lacking pass.

14. Houston Cougars
Put up a fight against the Hangovers and managed to put up a touchdown. Nice showing guys.

15. Mudville Bombers
Completely destroyed by the Alcoholics, no real excuse for that loss margin. Going to have to step your game up if you want to stay in A4.

16. Gotham Crusaders
20 points against the Pewnts? Holy shit guys way to go. I still can't rate you above the Bombers but maybe you have a real shot next week when you face off against them?

East Conference Week one Power Rankings

1. The Fighting Farvas
Strong win over the Crabs with a solid showing by your rushing and passing game. The #1 spot is now yours

2. New York Grizzlies
Nice win over the Kings, shut down their run effort and contained their impressive passing game.

3. Pittsburgh Steel
Defeating the Rapids is a great way to show the league your a legitimate threat. Powerful run game allowed you to control the game and despite losing four fumbles managed to pull out the win.

4. Niagara Rapids
Loss the the Steel drops you a bit, but no one here can deny that you're still a home playoff contender. The other team applying pressure to your QB and forcing a large amount of dump passes cost you this game.

5. Frunkis Town Virus
A complete curb stomp of the Devils is a great way to start the season.

6. Beaver City Crabs
Tough opening loss to the Farvas, hopefully you'll do better the rest of the season.

7. Murfreesboro Taints
Taints with an unimpressive win today, the fact that they allowed so many yards and points doesn't look good.

8. Tupelo Kings
Managed to put up decent stats in their loss to the Grizzlies, look like a legitimate threat this season.

9. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals
How they managed to defeat the Wolves today blows my mind. With 12 hurries and 3 sacks, 2 interceptions and a lost fumble luck was both for and against them.

10. Chicago Wolves
Devastating loss the the Bengals today, going to have to prove themselves now in the upcoming game against the Farvas.

11. Twin City Cobras
Destroyed the joke team, no surprises here.

12. Jersey Devils
Loss to the Virus is to be expected, hopefully it wont weight very heavily on the season.

13. KingsTalk Angerswords
Win over the Mean Machines really hurts the West Virginia team's chances of surviving the season, it's a good start for the Angerswords though.

14. Clemson Gamecock Kickers
Put up an actual fight against the Taints, unexpected and impressive.

15. West Virginia Mean Machines
Crushing defeat today, hopefully it wont get the team too down, it's still possible to salvage the season this early on.

16. Thundertown Brawlers
The new Scorpions lose but prove they have a bit of a bite with a decent pass game.

Next game against the Wildcats looks interesting in the West. Both teams have boosted some, although it appears that the Wildcats have boosted quite a bit more..

I think a little more than half of our players boosted...I'd like to see a lot more do it though. We had some turnover in the offseason too, losing some and bringing in a few new faces...probably a net plus for us in turnover. A couple of the new guys are really making their presence felt.

I know it looks like we had something of a running game today. But that was more of a gift from the Bolts than anything we did on our own. If you take away the mis-tackles on two or three of those long runs, then what is left is pretty much a struggle.

The Bengals are a very tough team...very solid everywhere. They deserve the lofty status accorded them in this ranking. We've yet to fare well against them. We play the Bengals, the Hangovers, and then the Pewnts all during the next three weeks. We'll be thrilled if we can get through our first four games with a 2-2 record.

The Cobras beat a non team this week, we will see where we are at in comparison to your rankings this week when we play a very tough Pittsburgh Steel team.

Well, it was an unimpressive win. The team you played against is half-gutted and was only a 4 or 5 win team before it lost the Biddler DT's that made 6 sacks a game.

If you had told us we'd put up nearly 100 yards rushing and nearly 300 yards passing and lose, I'd say you were crazy.

You shouldn't underestimate us. That's what happened to Ohio State too.

Same here we lost 3 WR's during the off season and cant replace them at all. I offered one level 18 WR $5000 (daily) and max Bonus for 1 season and he took a contract that only paid him the minimum for his level. These players are so damn determined to play for a good team and be 5 on the depth chart. Sad in my eyes.

I saw one team that had 7 or 8 WR's all between level 18-25 and they said they could not spare a WR. I was like WTF are you kidding me. Bring on the salary cap and all leagues capped.
