I thought this was the offensive AI thread?

As such, is there a way to have the AI get 3-5 WRs on the field in a predictable manner? Thanks.

Actual distance (subtract 17 yards for the yard line)

hmm...This game the FG was set at 39 so it should be at OPP 22 yard line to kick but this one was at 23 yard line and kick at 40.

another play for FG set at 39 but kick from 43.5 yrds.

This game FG was set at 29 how come I punt at OPP 21 yard line?

So what's really number I have to put in FG box?

Do you HAVE to put inputs in order to punt or kick a field goal or can you leave it alone.

It is just a thought, but maybe the FG range is a base range and the game takes into account certain factors like wind and morale and breath to create an 'in-game' field goal range.

Enter 39 and you will kick from the 22 yd line.

In related news, everyone who is having trouble with this should use the new AI tester I just uploaded for offense. It will help you figure out what matches and what doesn't.

What exactly does "Matched Special Sit" mean?

99% sure that means 'matched special situation', AKA 'special circumstance' like 'within FG range', 'outside FG range', 'near FG range (5 yard)', etc.

Make it 100% sure

Question:

If I stick something in Quarter Specific, does it completely not check General Settings plays for All Quarters?

I know it says it 'overrides', but i'm not quite sure.

Rephrase:
Since I have plays in all 4 Quarter Specifics, does that mean plays in General Settings (such as FG ranges etc) dont even get looked at?

It looks at quarter specific first, if it finds a match that's what it does. If it doesn't find a match then it checks the general settings. If no match there then it goes by the Basic AI settings.

WR long passes are typically (not always, but mostly) 3 and 5 WR sets.

On 5 WR sets the QB will often check down to one of the WRs running an underneath route.
