I would like to start a thread to keep up with all time records for the league. I would like to track both single game and season records. Career records will be created once the first player retires. View the list below and when you believe you have a record worthy performance or single play, simply respond to the thread with a link to the game / play for verification. It's a shame we cannot view single game plays for the first season but we can start fresh now and move forward. Each of the categories below has sub categories which we can define as requested. For instance, we could have the most games in a row with a TD by a RB, most forced fumbles in a row, most interceptions thrown in a row, 100 rushing 100 passing yard games. It's up to us how in depth we make it, I prefer very in depth. Please make a list of all suggestions and I will update as needed.

Here is a list of the records:

Yeah that sounds like a great idea man. Its all in good fun. This would also make it much easier when we're picking our pro bowl team at the end of the season. So all of our players can get the regognition they deserve. Its not a bad idea at all, its a great one.

Thanks
Mike

I think it sounds like an excellent idea. What is football without statistics anyway

Wow that's a lot of stats. I dunno about doing career stuff because of promotion and relegation and trades. Maybe you could do just career in the league?

I like it on the whole though.

Also maybe completely separate out career vs. season records in your post. Or make them 2 different posts, might make it easier to comprehend.

Might as well just put Musketeers by every record.

You could populate a lot of the single game stats by looking at the league page right now, just as a start.

i.e. Donovan Marino 280 yds passing, 28 completions, 50 attempts, 280 yds/game avg. are all initial records you can get by sorting the league leaders passing page.

Looks like alot of effort, but if u can handle it its gonna be a fun addition for sure.

Great work m8, keep it up

Fake Edit: Think Muskie might be right regarding just doing career in league

Since this is the first full season, lets forget about last seasons records. You can still get to the plays from last year, it is just not easy to do. Go to a player screen that played in the league last year and click game log at the bottom of the screen. Then switch it to season 3 and you will see the games there. Like I said, way too much work for 1/2 season of games. Just my thinking.

I agree, But as I stated if anyone is up for the task. I won't have ample time to do this.

I'm too much of a stat nerd to ignore this...

These are only per game stats, I figure season ones can happen at the end obviously. And I didn't do per team stuff either. Nor did I fill out every stat.

The problem also is that only you can edit the post but I decided to get all of the single game records from this year (at least until I get tired) AND EVERYONE SHOULD POST ONES THAT BEAT THESE AND I WILL CORRECT THE RECORDS:
