Like someone mentioned its all about zeta in here. Who in alpha or zeta recon is going to win the alpha conference? or how its going to finish?

People may think that Sydney Sea Dragons and Molokai Lavastorm (a.k.a Newcastle walabies, I THINK) but some teams have improved this year, what does everyone think?

We just played Molokai and they are a very good team. Excellent OT's for sure! They dominated us!

Thanks for the compliment ajd. It does look like a lot of teams bettered themselves this season. I think it will come down to who masters the new offensive and defensive AI's. It should be a close race all season.

Your right chrisk Molokai = Newcastle.

The Alice Springs Fire are going to contend for sure.

I think Molokai is the "team to beat" but I don't think they are like heads and shoulders better than everyone so they are definitely beatable. I think the Iron Men and Easter Island are both good and yes I think my squad is up there as well. I also think the Tasmainian Devils and Sydney are pretty stellar squads as well. I think we will know better by mid season as we see who adjusts to what.

Well after game 2 I think our Sydney Squad should be considered as one of the top contenders in alpha.

After two games, I'm inclined to put the Sea Dragons at the top of the conference at season's end. They were very strong last season and don't look to have had much of a turn over in the off season...dammit. The other top three teams I think will be the Moai, Lavastorm and Teeth Smashers, not necessarily in that order.

Other contenders will be the Ironmen, Fire and Serial Killers.

All in all, it's going to be an exciting season and I doubt any one team is going to dominate, like they did last season.
