12-3-1 in favor of the East by my count

But the last 2 champions have come out of the West, so who cares imo

Championships don't mean anything really, you get a gold image instead of a silver image. It's all about promotions/relegations, and that's decided before the title game. Last year I think two teams 10-6 or better missed the playoffs in the East. That's a tough ass conference.

222-0....ridiculous.

All these tweaks, changes, plans...and this beta still allows ridiculous results like that.

Bort said he'd added something that more or less stopped teams from running up the score by making them all play relaxed and other stuff like that, but I guess even on relaxed you're going to tear up a team comprised of level 1 computers.

French Lick is all level 1 CPU players. It would be like the Giants playing a pee-wee team. No AI is gonna prevent that.

Still ridiculous. Who's going to accept a football sim that allows games like that to happen.

IMO, too much time is spent trying to avoid having those matchups occur, and not enough is put into having a more realistic result when they inevitably do.

It could also be a large group teams with similar talent. Sixteen toddlers in a no-holds barred toddler fight might have similar competitive balance as what you see in the Eastern Conference ... and they'd still get rolled by an evil teenager.

I'm not saying the East is better or worse. The fact that a 10-6 team missed the playoffs could just as easily be explained by the disparity between the top tier of teams in the East and the bottom tier. Doesn't have anything to do with being "tough".

lol k. despite the fact that the whole top 10 in the east were better than all but 4 teams in the west last year doesn't have anything to do with being tough either amirite.

Honestly, we don't play enough games of significance to measure the conferences. I could point out that both league champs came from the West but it doesn't really indicate anything because the sample size isn't representative of the entire conference.

And seriously, how do you figure that 10 teams in the east were better than all but 4 teams in the west? Are you basing that on the records when you guys played each other compared to the records when we played each other? You think that's a good measuring stick?

Refer to my toddler example for the flaw in your logic.

I pay attention, that's how I figure the top 10 East > the West. The West is incredibly top heavy, the top 3-4 teams are very good but the rest are just on the good level tbh. It's more balanced in the East, where it's hard to tell at the start of the season where people are going to end up.

I agree. The East sets a much higher bar for mediocrity.

You have nothing to base this on besides meaningless scrimmage games.

As was stated earlier, the last 2 champions have come out of where?
