I don't know why they made the new game tactics so confusing. All they needed to do was:

OFFENSE RUN/PASS
A. Set % for RUN/PASS (Like they have it now.)
1. Set % to run outside of left tackle.
2. Set % to run between left tackle & left guard.
3. Set % to run between left guard & center.
4. Set % to run between center & right guard.
5. Set % to run between right guard & right tackle.
6. Set % to run outside of right guard.
7. Set % to throw screen passes.
8. Set % to throw short passes.
9 Set % to throw medium passes.
10. Set % to throw long passes.
11. Set % to throw deep passes.

OFFENSE FORMATIONS:
1. Set % for single back set.
2. Set % for pro set
3. Set % for (2) tight end set.
4. Set % for trip WR set.
5. Set % for 4 WR set.
6. Set % for 5 WR set.

DEFENSE FORMATION:
1. Set you D to be 3-4 or 4-3
2. Set % for your ILB to blitz (Base on downs)
3. Set % for your OLB to blitz (Base on downs)
4. Set % for your CB to blitz (Base on downs)
5. Set % for your safeties to blitz (Base on downs)

There's more, but to give a base idea. Your defense will change to knickle or dime auto based on the offense personnel. There would also be a section that allows you to run more if you are up in score or pass if you are behind in score.

What GLB has i have no clue what i'm looking at. I had to unhide the screen to see more, and still i was confused.

good luck bro, it's taken us several days to hammer it out and there are several teams that were royally screwed in the first preseason game because of they overlooked small errors in their settings...just ask the guys that punted every time they touched the ball.

yeah, i would take the approach of using your base settings still, but gradually tweaking the Advanced AI to fix the things you don't like as the game will still resort to your base settings if it can't find a match in the advanced AI

I dunno... I just took over D coordinator for our team, and I actually like the layout of the AI settings. It lets you really tweak everything to account for everything.... if you knwo enough about football and percentages, it isnt that hard to set. But then again, maybe it's just me.

I actually play front office football, and they have a deep, but understanding game plan. To me, this i'm trying to get a handle on. There is so many unhide drop down boxes!?!?!?

Maybe, i'm too slow, but it's dam confusing for me.

I like the way it is set up...it would be nice to have an explanation of what exactly they mean in some places, but that would probably give us too much information.

Once you play with it for a few hours it starts to make more sense...

its more of the possibilities that you can come up with that throws people for a loop. on the offensive side, you could literally script a play for every yard and distance for every spot on the football field

Because you play him week 1 and I don't play him till week 9 when he would have figured it out

The defense really is not that hard to figure out and the offense is very bland.

I agree. Down and distance are a good way to start for anyone who hasn't figure things out yet, but that's all the advice I'm gonna give out.

+1.

I think there's more opportunity to screw yourself then to benefit yourself (by people going overboard)
