I just hope the 9 alpha teams that got embarassed by zeta today get their act together. Wish more owners/people would post here

Unless morale improves the beatings will continue. That has to be the theme of the preseason so far. There are like 12 teams in this league that havn't scored a point.

I am looking forward to playing you guys. I have said it before Rostov, Hague, Milan, and Kiev are the class of Alpha.

Props to Pecs and Budapest thou. I am still shaking my head at Lvon's game today.

I do wish there was more competition in the game yesterday. Though, my defense did show they're as good as I hoped with the shut up and 6 of the 16 drives were 3 and out. Granted it would have been better with more competition. Game 2 of the regular season is the real test.

One thing I don't like about this league is the stats for the Alpha teams are going to be heavily waited. You guys have so many cupcakes that your stats are going to be cranked. The top 10 in various categories are going to be loaded with the top guys from Alpha.

I knew this would come up. This is how we will address it so nobody looks like a whiner or weiner.

Anyone amongst stat leaders from Rostov, Hague, Kiev, or Pecs deserves to be there because they WTF-powned the Zeta teams in preseason.

Anyone else, feel free to gripe or complain.

the Lvov train, on the first gam we played we set all our defenders to aggressive to see how many turnovers we might get, wich = 0 and then came back to lose a close game 8 to 7 by playing a balanced defense.

yeah you guys lost on a last second field goal after scoring the go ahead TD in the final minute. You get us next!

If the L'vov-Rostov game goes over 20 points combined, I'll be surprised.

We are kinda glad to get you guys out of the way early in the year. We projected you to be a playoff team, so its not like we don't respect you. This will be a tough test and for whoever wins, a rewarding win.

I guess I like our chances with our defense locking down your offense. You are a tough team to read from your preseason games. I think we have the potential to score more (hopefully in bunches!!!!). This could be a really good game to start the year.

I imagine the crowd noise at Maverick Stadium will be pretty intense. Looks like it will be a sellout!!!!

Was your Offense set for 'Passive' in the first game? If so that would explain the 9 points scored.

They were punting on 3rd down every game.

No clue what is up with our offense cpwhite, it was shall we say a bitlimp, butI think the guy doing OC is a bit rough, + we are all relativly new players to the game so aren't exactly doing power builds by any means.

I'm not lazy! I just happened to be out of town over the weekend and missed the season opener for the first game of my newly bought sports team...what, that makes me lazy? I'm sure real NFL team owners just read up on their teams in the paper each morning, right?

But no, poor showing by myself so far, but starting today I'm getting much more involved. Honestly, I kept forgetting to check this forum and am very surprised to see it as active as it is. That was a good opener blackball...wish we could've pulled off the upset there. After our total beat-down of Warsaw, although somewhat expected, I'm feeling very good about our chances this season.
