THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO -- The Canadian League #A team, The Bayou City Bruisers, have relocated and claimed a new look.

The team will now be known as the Thunder Bay Huskies. The new look comes in the form of a blue and tan color scheme which team officials say will bring a family friendly look to the sport while staying competitive. The team has chosen the Huskies as their mascot since they want to allow the players to know that they are part of a team.

"Everyone has to pull their own weight," said a team official. "However, we want it to be known that there will be a chance for some to become leaders of this pack."

Fans in Thunder Bay are excited for the team to come to town as they start scrimmages today. Merchandise sales have gone through the roof as fans are anticipating excellent entertainment.

What games are they looking forward to the most?

"Well, I am definitely looking forward to hushing those obnoxious fans in Winnipeg," said Steven Pelletier of Thunder Bay. "They have two teams and it's time that we have one ourselves."
