Yea I know its preseason. What did everyone think about the new AI? Also, did anyone try out a 3-4 defense?

The Jacks ran it as their base defense. See some things that need to be tweaked (on our end and the AI's end), but not nearly as bugged as I thought it might be.

The NSDK ran the 3-4 against us and did pretty well against the pass and getting pressure. We were able to run well against them, but then again we've been able to do that to the 4-3 too.

As far as the eadvanced tactics goes - we have a lot of work to do including figuring out why we went for it late in the fourth, with ta 2 point lead, on our own 30. Yep you guessed it, turnover on downs followed by a FG by NSDK giving us the loss.

I am glad to see QBs can actually scramble some now. Vincent Younger had 3 rushes for 22 yards. Basically instead waiting to get sacked when no one was open he took an open running lane.

Put your "punt" play high up in the offensive AI, that way it's the first one that gets looked at when you want to punt

So despite the n00bs only having 14 players on each side of the ball and no kicker, we only gave up 30 points. Hawks are overrated this season imo

Look at our game. The missed tackle thing is not a bug. Bort tweaked it and some people didnt listen. In our game today, they missed 38 tackles I think it was...we missed 8.

We were messing with stuff lol, not really going serious, you guys also still have some good players. If you don't believe me when was the last time the Hawks carried the ball 50 times in a game lol. I don't think we had 50 rushes all together last season

the Voodoo ran the 3-4 and Buffalo had a big day rushing...but i think that had more to do with the game plans than the defensive formation...we were set to defend the pass and they were in run heavy mode(only 9 passing att)

also, our DC was screwy...our starting CBs had 70+ plays while the backups were in single digits...same thing with the WRs...they were worn out by games end.

we will make some adjustments and try the 3-4 again next scrim and we'll see what happens

@Blitztiger- I had that problem with my team too. You need to set backups for your WR1, WR2 etc. spots otherwise they will never get spelled.
