Who will win ZETA Championship this year?

And where do you realistically hope your team will finish this year?



I'm going with BAMC for the championship

And as for the Rockies - we want a playoff spot, but i'm not expecting to rule the league. So we'll take 7th/8th.. I hope.

i am just hoping that the Bandits can make the playoffs. just that will be an improvement over last season.

Tonga! Tonga! Tonga!

Here's my top 4:
1. Tonga (I *have* to make this choice, because I believe it's very realistic that we could)
2. Bikini Atoll (my other choice, were it not for my own team)
3. Christchurch (a very solid team that gets lost in the mix occasionally)
4. Chinese (my wild card of the bunch, much better than a lot of people realize)

I expect the Horsemen and Coney Island to put in strong bids for the top 4 as well, and those two teams wouldn't shock me if they were in that position.

As far as where I hope we can finish, I think we have a realistic shot at a conference championship this season. Not just Zeta, but the league. We just defeated the Alpha runners-up last season (a VERY good game, despite the load of AI malfunctions), so I think the chance is there. Anything short of a conference championship would be incredibly disappointing to us this season. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing what arises from this!

Reminds me of this story:
Penn State played Miami in the Fiesta Bowl for the 1988 national title. The players from both teams had a dinner together two nights before the big game. Each team was scheduled to give a little funny skit about the other team. Penn State went first, and brought out a big barrel labeled "Jimmy Johnson's Hair Grease". BIG laughs. Then the Miami players got up and said: "Did the Japanese sit down and eat with the Americans before they bombed them at Pearl Harbor? NO. We're out of here." A Penn State LB turned to the media and said: "Excuse me, but didn't the Japanese lose the war?" HUGE laughs.

Oh yeah, Penn State beat Miami 14-10 two nights later.

Teuffelhounded: I put the same quote on one of my other teams forums and someone else said, "ah dude, the japanese bombed pearl harbor" Are there seriously that many people who have not seen Animal House????? If so I suggest that you rent it and, "my advice to you is to start drinking heavily."

I wonder how many watched that movie recently because it came up. Go buy it! As for a pre-during-after thought I agree with your suggestion on drinking heavily.
