is anyone going to do the polls like last season? that really added a lot of enjoyment to the game, especially in the forums.

thanks to the guys that did it last year, they did an awesome job.

Thanks a ton, Stubbs. I'm glad to see you (and others) enjoyed the playoff projections as much as I did writing them. A labor of love, really. Depending upon how hotly contested the league is this year, I may very well start around Week 10 with Chase's Playoff Predictions this season. Lots of football until then, though!

I'd love to see Sarg's rankings back for another whirl. Those were probably some of the best I've seen, taking stats and rosters into account. I'm very interested to see how everyone stacks up this season, polls or not!

Or start off by losing to us 12-10.

Unfortunately you'll have to wait till midseason again to get your shot. One I'm looking forward to: as that will be a tie breaker. Holding your Offense to 4 field goals sounds fine by me tho.

Well we weren't held to four field goals and obviously that was slanted towards the T. Devils.....but we will be waiting.

On another note....has anyone noticed an unusual amount of missed FGs and Extra Points?

We had a problem with that last year. But so far our Kicker was 2/2 FG and 4/4 xp.

Yeah we shanked 2 in our first game. Something changed.

Bort adjusted kicking for Season 4. Some Pro League kickers around GLB were jacking up strength and pouring points into the "Big Boot" SA. They were hitting 65-yard+ field goals by the end of Season 3. That changed, I know of, and I assume the importance of the secondary stats got increased, as well.

You mean like our one that would have won the game?

Sure if that was the only valid point in whether you would of ultimately won or lost the game but in regards to just missing overall like our kicker did an XP that would of maintained a tie at worst with your said FG. That and one of the kickers on another team missed 4 FGs in a game. ANother reliable one missed 2. My own kicker who is usually pretty solid missed one and an XP. Just as I have been making a kicker this whole time, I am trying to understand now what we have to concentrate on to avoid these situations as much as possible in the future.
