Hawks Nest Stadium is based in the town of Lefkada, on the island of the same name, off the west coast of Greece. The Stadium has 8600 seats, which will seat the entire population of Lefkada quite comfortably.

Due to the normally very hot and humid conditions in Lefkada for most of the year, games will be played in the evenings. Kickoff will be scheduled for 7pm Lefkada Standard Time (which will be adjusted to whenever GLB schedules our home games in virtual life).

Since these will be night games, and we couldn't afford floodlights, we have found a solution that we are sure will be acceptable to all. Our games will be sponsored by the Barack Obama Smile Company. Yes, the brightness of Barack Obama's Smile will light up our games and ensure a great gametime experience for all our fans.

Thank you Barack!

Greece is in reality technically part of South Eastern Europe. Since there is no Southern Europe in GLB yet, I guess Eastern Europe will do fine!

Just don´t say it to their face!

Greece went all ballistic last year (again) over the name of Macedonia (known as FYROM atm.)

Call them easterners, and you´ll get a boot to the head by every male/female greek there is

not at all - it is an age old debate in Greece as to what we really are:-

Culturally we are Easterners;
Politically we belong to the West;
Geopolitcally we belong to South Eastern Europe;
Geographically we belong to the Balkans.

Make sense of that if you will
