speaking as the (apparently former) OC and a player on the team, it looks like we seriously got the shaft ... and it either happened sometime late last night or early this morning. Lost the starting QB, top WR and a bunch of other players.
Owner gave no warning that anything was about to happen. New owner has yet to tell us anything at all.
Gotta love GLB. This kills about 60 percent of my interest in this entire game.
There is no way this kind of shit should be allowed to happen just as the offseason ends, making it impossible for a team to get any good players. Plus we have what looks like an absentee owner, or at least one who isn't active enough to tell us anything or hire GMs or look for players.
Do I know what happened? Yeah, we got a royal screw job.

Sorry to hear that - bad form on the previous owner. It looked like a solid team the other day. I guess you can only control so much on here. Looks like your new owner only has one player so he can't help the team much there. Good luck to you guys recruiting new talent. I hope you can salvage a decent season.

It has been confirmed that the previous owner decided to sell the team, so apparently he also decided to cut several of our best players at the last moment before it was sold. At no time did he inform the team, including the GMs, of this decision.
We are hoping the new owner will be active and immediately get to work on helping to fix this situation. There is a LOT of work to be done.
In the meantime, it does not look like Anubis will be a team to be reckoned with at any time in the near future.
