The team used to be the PBNation Dodgys. The owner diddnt want to be an owner anymore, and diddnt renew his ownership after the 2 seasons. Some of the players are actually friends with eachother and wanted to play here and asked for contracts. How is that gutting?

That's what happened with us. They won't try to understand.
I dont think he sold it back. He had to pay REAL MONEY to renew the team. He diddnt want to spend his own money just to loose. all he wanted to do was enjoy the game and have some fun. So he brought his players to a team where he knew some people. Naturally I brought my corner over because ive been a gm on this Mambas and my player was on the dodgys. The team was no more, we picked up players with expired contracts.

lol. kay. youve made no good points whatsoever. keep telling yourself its a gut job. thats fine with me.
A team moves its entire starting lineup to another team then the team is sold back or not renewed. Thats not a good point. OK
'Gutting' - Buying a team, stripping it of its resources and then selling the team back for the next poor sucker to buy.
The team was never sold back. The owner diddnt pay the 800 or whatever flexpoints to keep the team. The players contracts ran up. AND WE RECRUITED THEM TO COME HERE! Yes, we had leverage to to the fact that the free agents knew us already and wanted to stay together. That in no way is gutting.
So what if alot of our starting lineup was the same. WE STILL HAD TO RECRUIT THEM! It was their choice to be here. No player was traded here or forced here against there will. We even had to convince some of the players to come here rather than take other offers.
He had us signed on a season to season basis so and renegotated every season, because he was a good owner that cared about his players. Why would he want to sign us to longer term contracts if hes not going to be around anyway? It would make no sense...

You can read up on what happened. We didnt gut (ie pull a whole starting lineup, or even half of it) but we took one agents players from his own team (which is like 6 I think).
