The further outside you are the more important it is.
Tackles need more than guards need more than centers.

I think it is important because it it how fast you move and if you move slow the defender will just push you down

Agile DEs will be able to frolic past your tackle if he doesn't have decent agility and good blocking.

If a Guard is facing 60-70+ Strength/50+ Agility DT's then you better have more then 15 Agility.

I got my lvl 25 guard's agility up to 48 and his block rating has not moved at all since I dumped a lot of points into it. I would have expected agility to be related to blocking ability but in terms of the blocking bar at least, it is not.

Don't build your player based on the blocking bar. Build your player based on performance.

I understand, but my point is that while intuitively, agility should be related to lateral side-to-side movement (ie footwork) that helps improve blocking, I am not convinced that it is programmed that way into this game. If it were, Bort would undoubtedly have it be part of the Blocking bar formula.

if you read the De forum they are talking about the new advanced tactics settings available to them now to rush to the outside and avoid the blocker by the use of their agility and most of them are beginning to throw more of their SP into agility keep your eyes on this as their getting their agility at least to the 48 - 55 range without equipment what are your thoughts on how to counteract this development more agility for the OL also ?

48 agility for a DE would be considered very low. 55-65 is more normal. Agility is the primary attribute for a DE, particularly an RDE. 48-55 is more DT range.
