This losing team has a lvl22 QB riding the pine in favor of the GM's lvl17 QB. Instead of releasing the poor guy or accepting a decent trade offer for a player of no value to them they demand 500k.

I would sympathize...but the reality is that the QB never should have signed that long of a contract. Not sure on the whole story...b/c all stories have 2 sides, but I understand Kyoto asking for Cash when you look at their cash statement (below). They better get some cash or they won't have a team.
