Good thing they didn't do the 'no going negative' thing last season, some of you would have be royaly screwed.

We only went negative ($35,000 or less than one days salary and we have $2.5 million in stadium construction qu'ed up)renewing some contracts so we didn't lose so many by people not logging in on Day 40, so I sent them early, looks like a day too early, lol.

To those that went WAY negative, good ficking luck this coming season.

I haven't been in the red all season.... just sent $2 million worth of construction but will still be in the black at the beginning of the season.... so the money will come in from ticket sales.... I'll be fine. I hope!

But you haven't put $1 into the stadium, how do you plan on keeping up with salaries? You only have so many tickets to sell and that's it for the year.

He owns a vast majority of his teams players. I think salary won't be an issue for him.

It still gets to be an issue. I doubt he sent his players enough money to keep up with equipment bonuses through the lifetime of their contracts.

He will be left with a choice. He can either:

A. Ignore level 16 and level 24 equipment upgrades.
B. Renegotiate with his players. His players appear to be on longterm contracts signed at about level 4 or 6 wages. At level 16, this will require him to approximately triple his payroll, even at minimum salary requirements + 50,000 per player for the equipment. At level 24, (I'd guess) his payroll would be sextuple (6X) his current payroll + 200,000 per player for equipment.

Yes, it's going to be tough to keep up with salaries this year if your stadium isn't expanded. This league could do it last year with only level 16 equipment to consider, but this season will be completely different. Good luck to all.

Don't look at me. I have 7 stadium sections on the way and no one on my team will hit level 24 this season.

The Popes are hoping to have the entire 200 level completed by the time we need the 200,000 bonuses.

Salaries etc aren't really an issue yet.

Look at it this way... most teams have just over 40 guys on their squad. If you pay the entire squad 100k each, your wage bill will be around $4.5 milllion maximum.

With a slightly upgraded stadium we brought in nearly 4.5 million this year. So eve if you only expand slightly this season, you will more than cover wage bills. I mean ours next season is looking like it's going to be aroudn the $2.4 million mark. Still going to make plenty of money.

Level 16 equipment costs 2mil for those 40 guys.

Level 24 equipment costs 8mil.

So, your a day trader, glad to meet you.

It is impossible to do over $10 million in stadium without selling players like oil, even with the $3 million you spent last off season, that would require selling over $1 million in players BEFORE the end of last offseason, it would have sucked to sign with you only to be traded later that night.

It'll really be fun, LMAO. I just hope to keep up with everyone until we can mature as a team, we didn't do the 'high the highest level possible' last off season and wouldn't do it again this off season, just a few replacements for guys who left.

yup.

The race to sign level 20 FAs before you have the financial capabilities to continue to pay them all is one race that never interested me.

I'm proud to be the tortoise, let others be the hare.
