You see they also changed the negative balance thing. You go negative and you can't pay your players.

The Delta Force finds no problems in that type of financial arrangment for the Delta Force has Enron style accounting measures in place.

Yeah, I saw this, I'm kinda on both sides of the argument here, I think there should be punishments for clearly being reckless with money, but if your team has a plan and you aren't going crazily into negatives I think its ok, but there is no real way to do this unless you assess each case individually and there is no time for that.

But that is the point of a loan. Sorry but I don't think you should be able to spend money if you don't have any. To do that you have to take out a loan.

Just for example, your case, you could have taken a loan and easily paid it off with the playoff money. All you would have to do is plan on some interest money or even possibly that you could it pay it off before that happened.

I wouldn't mind different loan options to give owners some additional flexibility to go with this.

Good point, I guess that is basically a solution to what I thought it should be like.

You guys analyze my team too much.look at it this way I have 20 houses that I own outright in New york city.I bounce a check does that mean that i'm bankrupt.NO silly people with no real life skills I sell 2 houses (condo's) and I have plenty of cash.Its the whole balance sheet not just one line item.So lets look at book value of my team because team and me do go together in this case. my players say 25 X going value on market= 10 million GLB dollars.I can reduce my liquid assets by doing so and convert to cash at any time during trading period.Get my drift.And signature loans are just that sign and go to Atlantic City if you want with the money who the hell cares.

Using Monopoly rules to try and understand an over-leveraged debt position is awesome.
