I posted this in my teams forum but i thought it was funny so I posted it here

Well since I am a Raiders fan people tend to associate me with prison so I just wanted to throw out a couple prison/crime facts. Some are funny some are retarded but they are actuall laws.

1. The average criminal sentence length is 137 years in Colombia

2. Two-thirds of the world's executions occur in China

3. You're 66 times more likely to be prosecuted in the USA as in France

4. The Chico, California, City Council enacted a ban on nuclear weapons, setting a $500.00 fine for anyone detonating one within city limits.

5. In ancient Egypt, killing a cat was a crime punishable by death

6. In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands

7. An adulterous Greek male was sometimes punished by the removal of his pubic hair and the insertion of a large radish into his rectum. (ouch)

8. Until the 1960's men with long hair were not allowed to enter Disneyland

9. In Lebanon it's legal to have animal sex, but only with female animals. Animal sex with males is a capital crime.

10. The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.

11. The electric chair was invented by a dentist

12. Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England, but only in tropical fish stores.

13. America puts many more of its citizens in prison than any other nation

14. In Alaska, it is legal to shoot bears. However, waking a sleeping bear for the purpose of taking a photograph is prohibited.

15. It is a criminal offence to drive around in a dirty car in Russia

Punishment. We're all single. Wonder why...

Nice Burn.
Education programs, like this one, really do benefit US prisons. I ask you to please extend this gift of knowledge to your fellow Black Hole compatriots so when they spend a night or two in county, they can debate the merits and drawbacks of an arbitrary legal system, specifically the one in the US, citing this list as examples. You never know, it might help them in front of the judge.
Da Raider Nation is not the only group in need of your aid. Philly fans are in desperate need of knowledge too! But sadly, they might be too far beyond the aid of reason and logic. The same with Green Bay and that whole fiasco. Actually, Burn. Just help the Raiders. Philly and GB are to far gone, IMO.

What, exactly, are you trying to say about Philly fans? People who aren't from Philly, will never understand us.

I completely agree about the fine citizenry of Philadelphia being misunderstood. I have a hard time understanding why they throw snowballs at Santa Claus. But one could say that about any fan base in any corresponding home city for a football team. And find examples of poor jugdement and behavior to critcize the fans on. I was just trying to make a funny about rabid fans, like the ones in the black hole, and correlate them, the fanatical fans, to being ignorant.
The Raiders, Eagles, and the Packers, any team really, has at least a small hardcore following that has the reputation of being blind and illogical to a fair degree. I was trying to poke fun at that group of fans. I did not mean to offend rational and lucid fans of Oakland, Philly, and Green Bay. But if you are a knucklehead that basks in one's own ignorance, please, by all means, be offended.

Well, I'm not an Eagles fan, but the reason why Santa Claus was pelted with snowballs is because he was acting like a drunken idiot on the field that day. However, it's been 30 years, ya think people would start to let it go by now? A high percentage of Philly fans are NOT ignorant. We are ALL very passionate and any team is going to have the few fans that do stupid things. I mean, the Montreal Canadiens fans torched two cop cars after a FIRST ROUND playoff victory this past season, yet the general feeling towards their fans is that they are classy fans. I don't like the rap that Philly gets, and I don't approve of some of the worse things that have occurred, but I feel like at some point people have to stop using us as the example of "classless" fans because many of the transgressions that people bring up happened 10+ years ago.

Lol, I like how that's a concern, the whale population is really quite thin in Oklahoma

I used the Santa incident because of the absurdity of that whole situation. And it makes me laugh. I know the vast majority of Eagles fans are not ignorant. Nor are the Raiders fans. I'll quit dumping on them both. I am guilty of picking the easy mark in that regards.

Eh, I think it's more the vocal minority in Philly that gives you guys a bad rap.

I like to listen to the local sport talk for the other team on the internet during the season before a game, and the personalities and callers just come across as arrogant and full of themselves...and considering I'm a Cowboy's fan and have to listen to our people talk, that's saying something.

I hate Eagles fans. They're unknowledgable and get wild ideas about how good the team should be every year. I've never met fans that have a more inflated view of their team than the Eagles. Even with the Flyers and the Phillies the expectations are more realistic, but the Eagles are something else entirely.

Love the Flyers fans...that's a classy bunch there.
