As the season draws to an end, two titanic teams collide, in what promises to be an Epic Battle.

Seville Naranjas from Alpha take on Munchen The Fearless Lions - let's see how these two teams match up:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1916&team2=1943

Interesting stats

Passing Yards (Regular Season)
Seville: 3955
Munchen: 3320

Passing Yards (Playoffs)
Seville: 848.5
Munchen: 989

Rushing Yards (Regular Season)
Seville: 2771.5
Munchen: 2240

Rushing Yards (Playoffs)
Seville: 352
Munchen: 115

Seville seem to have the edge over the regular season, but post-season, none of that matters, and Munchen have arguably been the best passing team, given that their run game has averaged less than 40 yards a game in the playoffs.
Seville has shown that they can run on the toughest teams, and have a passing game to boot.

Top Threats

Seville:
HB - Champs McGee. Leagues #1 in rushing yards, and averaged 3.3 YPC in the playoffs against top defenses.

To Watch:
QB - Tommy Luke - led the passing attack well during the regular season, with a 3:1 TD to Int ratio. 3 TDs to 3 Ints this post-season, his play could be key in this game.
CB - Kal Elllll - 23 PDs in 3 playoff games, and has shown that he can make the picks.

Munchen:
WR - Magical Mister Mox. Not a huge contributor during the regular season, but has shown brilliance during the post-season, reeling in all 3 of Munchen's passing TDs.

To Watch:
CB - Seymour Butts - 3 post-season interceptions have been key to Munchen's streak. Good shut-down corner.
QB - Jeppe Dam - 2:1 TD:Int ratio during the regular season, matching Tommy Luke at 1:1 this post-season. Responsible for the bulk of Munchen's yardage - will need to play at his best to expose a strong Seville secondary.

So, there we have a quick snapshot of the two teams. Alpha and Zeta clash once more, in a key game. Alpha took it last year, can Seville keep the glory in their conference, or will the Lions take the trophy home for Zeta pride?

Prediction:
Seville: 20
Munchen: 17

I'm going to have to go with Seville. They've always given teams a tough game even when they had big level differences; well now they've caught up in levels and are very dangerous (as shown by them being in the championship). If they can keep up that big-play ability from their last game I think they take it.

Munchen is also a very good team. I just think that the little more balance that Seville has will give them the edge. Should be a great game none-the-less.

Beautiful snapshot and Great job. We're so surprised we're here it's anti-climatic to the 3 games we just played for the Alpha title. But if we continue to get the hard yards on the ground with our RBs, we should be able to stay in the game .

Also, who played in the title match and won season 1? Season 2 was Chicago - Manchester.

There was no season 1 for WEAA#3. There was a 'AA', but that got bumped to 'AAA' when the pyramid structure came into force.

I'm going to give Munchen the edge here. Not only are their builds/players apparently better (if you look at matchup page) but they've had some excellent gameplanning all season.

Munchen 24-17. (Go Zeta!)

as much of a ZETA supporter as i am, its hard to think that Munchen is the favorite coming into this game. i'll be pulling for the Lions in the ship, but im not overwhelmed with confidence in their ability to get it done and represent ZETA. reluctantly: Munchen 21-20.

Arguable. I wouldn't say so - overall opinion seems to be divided though.
