New team owner and GM Sofaking held an impromptu press conference today after a grueling day watching video of free agents.

"In taking over this team during the last season, I have been faced with an uphill battle to find just the right players to make this team a contender", Sofaking said. Removing his ballcap and scratching is sweaty hair he continued with "Alot of owners would have released everyone and started over, but I feel we have some real winners on this team."

Sofaking may be right. The team posted a win during their previous scrimmage, which may not seem like much, but has the team and fans buzzing. "During this season, we have signed a franchise quarterback Mack Strongarm and have resigned many key players. I am not giving up on this team, they have alot of fight in them"

In a surprise comment Sofaking mentioned, "We are undergoing a rebirth here at the complex. New uniforms, new stadium sponsor, and the best news of all, a new name." This franchise has been the Zulu Warriors since their introduction to the league, so this is a big change.

Joey Dozer, current starting running back stated, "This is a new team. We have united as a team. A new name will be the last ingredient to give this team a new start."

No clues as to what the new name will be, but the Warriors have a long way to go after finishing with only 1 win this season. They will need more than a new name and uniforms to compete.
